Yes. And Trump's photo op at Arlington was specifically related to the Afghanistan withdrawal. Trump wanted to exploit the deaths of those US soldiers to attack the Democratic Party/Harris, while he himself presided over the negotiations for the time frame of the US withdrawal (through Mike Pompeo). Unsurprisingly Trump removed all the social media posts he made proclaiming these negotiations at that time.
Trump was responsible for all of the deaths, no one else.

The soldiers family requested photos and video of the event. It wasn’t a campaign event.
The soldiers families were not aware of Trump’s conversion of the solemn occasion into a circus for his own campaign.

It is allowed to film and photograph at the Arlington Cemetery (of course it is!), but federal laws forbid political campaigns or acts with political motives to take place on the cemetery, as the cemetery is supposed to be and to stay a political neutral place. These laws are enforced by military personnel at the cemetery. Your correspondent is stating some gibberish without any facts to back his statements, and is bending the truth. This lack of professionalism disappoints me hugely.
