Saints fans for years: "Saints Row is dead" Volition/deep silver: "dont worry its not dead yet." Saints fans after the new game releases: "yeah no.. its dead." Seriously though... I knew this was gonna happen. They kept saying they wanna go in a different direction and "modernize" it. We all know what that means..🙄 They took Rim Jobs and changed it to Jim Robs, they took freckle b*tches and changed it to FBs. Why? Cause the woke and overly sensitive MSM (mainstream media) would whine about it. The story is cringe. The gameplay is uninspired generic garbage, and the overall identity and personality of the Saints is gone. All in exchange for this half assed politically correct woke rip off excuse for a saints row game. What a bloody embarrassment to the Saints Row name.. F*cking pathetic.🙄😒 RIP Saints Row..🙏
I really wanted to like it. I REALLY did. But idk... I feel betrayed in a way. I feel deceived and misled. The pandering to a minority that does not give a single flying rats ass about the franchise just alienated me. I cannot even figure out who the game is for. It feels like a social experiment. Or like a game made for the woke culture of 2016. I don't see anything even remotely gangster about it.
Honestly I didn’t see any major bugs, I don’t know if it’s my copy (I have it on PS5) or if the patch was released the day it came out but so far I only noticed minor glitches. But yeah while I somewhat enjoyed the game volition needs to do better
They need to pull their head out of the place sun don't shine. Alright I prefer the first 2 games in the series so I knew this won't be for me but DAMN. It is literally unplayable and utterly broken. Every mission feels the same... To even THINK that Saints Row vs GTA was ever an argument online is now actually funny. It looks so bad graphically it is not even funny... Like come on... It belongs on Last gen consoles. I want to know what the actual hell they were doing for that half a year they delayed the game for. HOW messed up was it when they had to release it then? It feels unfinished even with a 6 month delay... Truly Volition is just giving up and giving in to "trends" that mattered and carried weight like 6 years ago.
Just woke garbage that they somehow thought the fanbase wanted. Actual GENUINE trash with cringe woke writing. You are NOT missing out. Boring and formulaic. Don't bother at all. No dlc will ever make this a game worth your time. I literally drove around for 10 min in the vast world and saw NOTHING. Empty world and dull gameplay. Then I went on sr2. Drove around for 10min too. The incredible world design and the pedestrians Made me smile because the world felt alive. This new game might be big but it is empty and devoid of any kind of soul. Literally it is a game that Saints Row 2 or the Third would mock... It is actually amazing how utterly tone def they were with the reboot. They started fresh with a New clean slate and STILL managed to fuck it up... Do yourself a favour my guy. If you love Saints Row... Don't play this game.
