I hear you on that. I feel the same way a lot of times, but we need to remember that ultimately it's God's work. We just need to be prepared and willing.
You do have the gift some might not be as eloquent with speech as Pastor Jeff is. But all have the gift of evangelism! You can talk to people that Jeff cannot because you know them. Learn, and practice, even highlight your Bible. You can do it! Just pray for the Lord to give you strength. It's much better to rely on God than your own strength anyways. Once you get started it's scary, but soon It will become fun you'll have bad/good times but once you see that first person lead to the Lord what Joy it will bring to your soul!

I agree how Jeff approaches any other face through the Roman Catholics or the Jehovah's witnesses or the Mormons or even atheists the lord gave him a gift at speaking to people to not let them get offended he knows how to approach people in a way to have a nice conversation and dialogue with the person. And for us believers we can do our best to teach ourselves to do the same of what Jeff is doing even though everyone has their own unique gifts and personalities some are fast learners and some are slow learners and for myself I'm a slow learner but eventually I catch on to things. And I'm so grateful that I'm a child of God a Christian because 6 years ago the Lord send me down a path where I thought that I had no hope that I was going to lose my life and I was mad at God for it. But I believe the Lord send me down this path for me to realize when I got sick with late stage Lyme disease that I started thinking about life all life is so precious and this is where I got into reading my grandma's 19 54 Kings James version Bible I couldn't understand it and then I noticed that they had Bible apps on the phone you can download. No I read the ESV Bible it's better for me to understand the new English word because the old English I can't understand fully. When I hear people say that God's word changes it doesn't change because the Lord will preserve his word forever. When you compare the new King James version The Old King James version The New American standard Bible the NIV Bible and the ESV Bible. When you compare these five Bibles to the verse of Proverbs 3:5-6 you will see there is no change. But don't get me wrong there are other Bibles when you get further and further down they start changing. I pray everyday that more people get saved and that they'll know the one and only true God who Jesus Christ. That there is no purgatory where it says in the 66 books of the Torah Hebrew Bible the holy Bible. There's no such thing that Jesus is Lucifer's brother or we can become God's one day and own our own planets. God is from everlasting to everlasting through Jesus Christ because Jesus Christ was with the father. We're not saved by our good works but we're saved by God's grace as a free gift having faith within Jesus Christ for our salvation there's no amount of good works that we can do to get saved but. We do produce good works and these good works that we do is spread the good news of the Gospel through Jesus Christ our Lord and savior love our neighbor as ourselves even if that person is being rude or negative we still need to remember the first Galatians 5:22. If I ever see myself if I have too much pride or too much boast in the negative way or if I'm ever in the wrong I will always knowledge myself before the Lord to be humble before him to get down on my knees to ask for forgiveness and to put me back on my foundation or I don't slip or fall. Because I always talk to Lord and pray to him and I'll say Lord please do everything that you can to keep me by your side to keep me rooted and grounded within you and your word to do anything that you can to discipline me and what you think is best for me what you think I can handle and can't handle. And I know the Lord knows all things he knows every person on this planet who they are and their personality he knows even if a preacher preaches God's word from the far ends of the world of certain tribes that never heard the gospel through Jesus Christ the lord already knows that these people are not going to get saved but that doesn't mean when the Lord sends preachers out upon this world he knows that some people are going to believe too. Because the Lord is the one that lets my light shine upon others he's the one that keeps my lamp lit. and even though I'm not the smartest person in the world but I know enough and God's word about salvation within Jesus Christ to trust in him because if we start thinking about our salvation that we're not truly saved we need to remember everything the Lord's been teaching us through his word through his holy spirit. And I recommend any new believer or the for the ones that don't believe these are a couple pastors that I like for myself that I listen to. Pastor Billy Graham pastor Charles Stanley and pastor Jeremiah and pastor Jimmy swager family on SBN. A couple TH-camr Christian channels that I like listening to is living Waters through Ray comfort and Kirk Cameron. And DLM Christian lifestyle and off the curb ministry these are reliable sources that speak the truth of God's word that lines up with God's word. And another TH-camr Christian that I like listening to is Jeff. Forgive me that my message is a little long but I had to share a little bit of my testimony and my faith and the reason why I have faith with the only one true God to Jesus Christ. And I noticed when I became a Christian I'm getting more spiritually attacked but the devil can't do anything to us believers he can't possess us but he can try to do anything that he can and his demons to separate us from the Lord or to do his best to deceive us and to many lives or to get us depressed or anything in that nature. The thing I hate about about street evangelist is they often stress this "turning from sin" and some one that really doesn't understand the gospel will inevitably read into "I have to stop sinning or I'm not saved" Jeff does a pretty good job but but he still uses this language that I think that people who don't understand the gospel will misunderstand. Until God grants faith to a person to understand and believe the Gospel of His Son they won't understand what "turning from your sin" really means.
I think you answered your own concern. God's gotta be the one to grant understanding, faith, repentance, etc. Jesus did say repent and believe the gospel well over more than 1 time in the gospels. :)
@@apilkey Hmmm. It seems there is only one with both those terms. However there are quite a few times in the gospels where Christ commands repentance. Its not an option. No one can have genuine faith in Christ and continue living like an unbeliever. "Faith alone saves. But saving faith is never alone." As I have heard a few preachers say. Some like Ferguson and Begg. Repentance and saving faith are like two sides of the same coin. You believe penitently, and you penitently believe.

@@apilkey this is my issue against Calvinist theology. If it is God's desire that none should perish...but that ALL should repent.. Is their choice made for them by God that controls all things? Yet. God is not a puppeteer. Our choices are not attached to a switch that is forced. I do believe that the free will God gives us is still challenging even after being born again... Satan does not give up...but is not as powerful as God. Why would there be any warnings to not be deceived if God already ordained who is saved and who is not? Our church has an entire class on it last year and I couldn’t believe I was just finding out about that group. A couple of the cohosts were part of that cult for 10 years. To get an inside peek was absolutely heartbreaking. It boils down to an identity issue. Because of the treatment from our society, so many of our brothers and sisters are flocking to things just to get a sense of belonging when God has already said who we are in Christ.

wow, just think of what our world would look like if our leadership would set this kind of example and if people followed that example? evangelism seems like a lost art in todays church yet Jesus says the harvest is ready but there are few labors to reap it. God is still moving as you can see in this video but i still believe we are only as spiritual as our leaders. if the leadership does not want evangelism then don't expect the sheep to want it. I would think that if God was asked what was on the top of his agenda in 2020 it would be sharing his love with unsaved people. its pretty hard to think with all the preaching and tv and radio teaching we have that us Christians are not spiritually fat, because we are spiritually fat. we get poured into 2 to 3 times a week and we could loose some spiritual fat by feeding others that don't know him. I like building friendships with people and really love them through Christ and pray for them and ask God to show you when to witness to them. he has never not opened the door when I pray this way. i have invited people on my boat and seen God change atheist people and many more people and meet Jesus as savior. try finding a teller at a bank or store and after knowing him or her for a while and hand them a card with church address and phone number and invite them to church! I have done this and had people show up to church and get saved. we are made to receive Gods word and then we should pour it out to others and then come for another refill to pour it out again. what a great job your are doing for the Lord, pastor. i still find my self witnessing but seems like this is not a priority in our churches today. Women take birth control for regulation of their periods as well. For endometriosis or other things... so him just assuming it's for sex right away didn't sit well with me.
Well, to be fair he did ask her. And I've heard that birth control helps regulate. It also messes up woman's hormonal cycle as well. In fact it can even prevent women from having babies later. There are many negative side effects to birth control.

The thing I hate about about street evangelist is they often stress this "turning from sin" and some one that really doesn't understand the gospel will inevitably read into "I have to stop sinning or I'm not saved"
Jeff does a pretty good job but but he still uses this language that I think that people who don't understand the gospel will misunderstand. Until God grants faith to a person to understand and believe the Gospel of His Son they won't understand what "turning from your sin" really means.
I think you answered your own concern. God's gotta be the one to grant understanding, faith, repentance, etc. Jesus did say repent and believe the gospel well over more than 1 time in the gospels. :)

@@apilkey Hmmm. It seems there is only one with both those terms. However there are quite a few times in the gospels where Christ commands repentance. Its not an option. No one can have genuine faith in Christ and continue living like an unbeliever.
"Faith alone saves. But saving faith is never alone." As I have heard a few preachers say. Some like Ferguson and Begg. Repentance and saving faith are like two sides of the same coin. You believe penitently, and you penitently believe.

@@apilkey this is my issue against Calvinist theology. If it is God's desire that none should perish...but that ALL should repent.. Is their choice made for them by God that controls all things?
I believe that there are some that love the idea that "everything happens for a reason" and attaches all their choices good and bad as predestined and ordained and determined by God for them to make....
Yet. God is not a puppeteer. Our choices are not attached to a switch that is forced.
I do believe that the free will God gives us is still challenging even after being born again... Satan does not give up...but is not as powerful as God. Why would there be any warnings to not be deceived if God already ordained who is saved and who is not? Why share the gospel at all (except to MAYBE reveal those that are ready for harvesting?)
So many things..... But I digress.

I feel for this young lady. No telling what she is going through with the males and sex in her community. this IS the issue IMO, what is going on in the Black Community and why they are angry. Lies of the Dems that you can have a baby early with no father. The gov will take care of you. No man, no husband, no father for a child. This is a crime. Lord have mercy on this beautiful child. Salvation for her beautiful soul, in Jesus Name.
In love, your message shows how disconnected you are from the Black community, its pain, and its struggles. Don’t tie an entire people group to one political party or try to explain why you think they’re angry. It’s harsh and quite frankly, untrue. As a Christian, we are to love our neighbors as ourselves, that includes all communities and it seems like the world is just now having an awakening. Lament with a community when they’re in pain. Show others what godly love looks and sounds like instead of giving into and spreading stereotypes. Our nation needs more of the message of Jesus Christ. So let’s promote heart-change by spreading the good news of His Word.

Our church has an entire class on it last year and I couldn’t believe I was just finding out about that group. A couple of the cohosts were part of that cult for 10 years. To get an inside peek was absolutely heartbreaking. It boils down to an identity issue. Because of the treatment from our society, so many of our brothers and sisters are flocking to things just to get a sense of belonging when God has already said who we are in Christ.
Brittany Speaks where in the Bible is the Hebrew Israelites faith. Because if I remember when I read the Bible there’s no quote about any of that but to believe in him and follow him. God created us to be a one people not separated as a religion.

wow, just think of what our world would look like if our leadership would set this kind of example and if people followed that example? evangelism seems like a lost art in todays church yet Jesus says the harvest is ready but there are few labors to reap it. God is still moving as you can see in this video but i still believe we are only as spiritual as our leaders. if the leadership does not want evangelism then don't expect the sheep to want it. I would think that if God was asked what was on the top of his agenda in 2020 it would be sharing his love with unsaved people. its pretty hard to think with all the preaching and tv and radio teaching we have that us Christians are not spiritually fat, because we are spiritually fat. we get poured into 2 to 3 times a week and we could loose some spiritual fat by feeding others that don't know him. I like building friendships with people and really love them through Christ and pray for them and ask God to show you when to witness to them. he has never not opened the door when I pray this way. i have invited people on my boat and seen God change atheist people and many more people and meet Jesus as savior. try finding a teller at a bank or store and after knowing him or her for a while and hand them a card with church address and phone number and invite them to church! I have done this and had people show up to church and get saved. we are made to receive Gods word and then we should pour it out to others and then come for another refill to pour it out again. what a great job your are doing for the Lord, pastor. i still find my self witnessing but seems like this is not a priority in our churches today. I hope to see an excitement in the church soon. God bless.

Well, to be fair he did ask her. And I've heard that birth control helps regulate. It also messes up woman's hormonal cycle as well. In fact it can even prevent women from having babies later. There are many negative side effects to birth control.
