  • Great stuff happening to High Maintenance! This time we were able to install the both nacelle tail cones and their associated plumbing. Makes a dramatic difference in the appearance of the plane. That, also, got some large parts off the floor. always getting closer to first engine start.

    I gotta say, I'm a fan of painted nacelles! Black would look good with the yellow accents!

    Douglas vs On Mark. Useful mod incorporating nut plates. Polish nacelles is correct with WWII insignia you have. Painted nacelles (black) were a maintenance procedure introduced later, since they would typically be covered in soot and oil residues.

      Amen. We've upgraded many if those situations with nutplates.

    I would only paint the engine cowlings and keep the nacelles aluminum or painted silver.

    Do you know the model # of the putt putt your looking for?

      @mustangbob51  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don't know the model, but it's powered by a tecumseh 1 cylinder engine. I think they were pretty consistent throughout the bomber world

      Bill, from everyone I've talked to, since your first comment, they were pretty much standard throughout the bomber fleet. I haven't been able to up with a specific part number, but as I said before, all the same, 1 cylinder. Tecumseh APU.
