I used to fly airliners only since FSX. The career mode forced me to learn GA, man I’ve been missing out. Bought the FSR 500, TBM 850, Turbine Duke, I can’t get enough of them now. It have been a fun experience learning system and procedures.
I really like your videos on the channel. So much professionalism, love and time you spend here for us. I just learn something new with every video. Many thanks and best regards 👍🏻👏🏼.
Around 21:00 - "Readback correct but Please speak faster..." is why I'll probably never do VATSIM ;-) This is supposed to be fun. Great video though and I've always liked the TBM 930. Capable but easy to configure the flight.
It is incredible to see a real airline pilot at work in this Flightsim. I'm just a MSFS2024 enthousiast, I do have all the simgear that is available (for GA small planes, not the Winwing Airbus EFIS gear), but to see you playing around with those settings on the avionics and flightplanning, is really mind-boggling. For me, sometimes, it's going a little bit too fast and I have to rewind a video section and revisit it, again and again. But you are also a good teacher, I am just a slow student... But I'll get there eventually, I hope... It is of course your job in real life, but this proves you're really good at it! I would be very reassured, if you were the pilot, on a real flight that I booked... 😉 Big fan of your channel here, keep up those excellent videos!!! I'm learning a lot, everytime you post a new video. Thanks a lot!
I really gotta try the 910. It looks really good. I'm glad you mentioned that other light aircraft have not been such stable platforms. Previously, trying to fly light aircraft even from add on developers has been like trying to fly a butterfly in a hurricane......and that was in good weather.
When this game is working well and streaming high res data (especially if you use autoFPS and allow it to increase your TLOD beyond what is possible in game), it looks absolutely incredible. Even more so with a bit of cloud cover at sunset/sunrise. Despite all its issues, playing free flight in a plane that isnt majorly bugged in some way is very fun. I have been playing using BeyondATC because vatsim is too intimidating for me haha and its been so addicting. I just cant put it down!
52:13 to add something i belive, atleast the checklist i have calls for an 2 min cooldown in hi idle and then another 30 in low idle just something id thought id mention but again may be different from checklist to checklist
Just started flying this again on the new sim and was saying to myself the other day “I hope a330 driver does a video with this”. My wish was granted 😂
21:00 man, I forgot just how bad the turbulence is in MSFS 2024 when you have it set to "realistic". Its far too intense in most situations. I have turned it to medium until they fix the turbulence issues. They have logged it as a bug and investigating it I believe, but hopefully they will release a fix for it soon.
Hey Emi, if you are in the market for a new phrase, at 1:16, for what we are not here to do, I highly suggest the Australian classic "we're not here to F*ck spiders"
How does this addon compare in quality to the TBM 850? I know it's a different era of plane regarding the cockpit, but would you consider the two planes to be in the same league quality wise?
@@A330Driver I suspected as such, but I haven't flown either and your comments about this one made it seem like you thought it was top notch. I think when you review/demo a default plane that you like, it might be useful to people like me to make a quick comment about how it compares to other similar planes out there. I know the 930 and 850 are not identical, but they're in the same product range.
To me it looks similar to MSFS 2020.I do routes in and out of INN fairly often. In 738s and the TBM.With only 37mbps internet available(no FTTP here) I am sticking with 2020 which is very stable and never lets me down.Nice video though.

Autopilot on, lights on in the back, take my hand and let's join the mile high club on the lovely modelled interior leather seating, and enjoy the incredible view, it will be a bumpy ride until landing check.
Its easy to overtorque the engine during take off it seems. Also yup, i need to see over the nose to feel comfortable😇Does the rev range work in this plane ?
I do not have 2024, but have seen how Emanuel has concentrated on it almost exclusively since it came out. That’s OK since on YT with mostly third party scenery and airplanes it looks just like my 2020 - with one exception: the zombie co-pilot/first officer. Can you not get rid of her, even for a single pilot aircraft like the TBM 930? Also, did you take off and land with no inertial separator? What happens if you suck in a bird or a chunk of ice on the takeoff run or at low altitude?
Hey, I have the TM Airbus TCA and in msfs2024 the throttle is so sensitive and when I change the sensitivity in the settings it doesn't change anything. Can anyone help?
Hi Emmanuel I wanted to ask you, how do you keep Ini's planes from "freezing" the simulator? Do you have any advice you can give us? I love your channel by the way.
Never had a problem with iniBuilds aircrafts. In fact, they were the only good planes in the sim at launch. Anything made by Carenado is half done, mediocre shit (unsurprising).
You are now showing MSFS 2024 exclusively. I have tried to use it very hard, spend almost a week tuning and tinkering, but the amount of bugs, crashes and problems made me to revert to 2020, otherwise it wasn’t any fun at all, mostly frustration. And I do have extensive experience with tinkering with sims … There are several sim-breaking bugs in VR, but there is also a staggering amount of general bugs, like random CTD when changing camera from inside to outside and back. My experience was such that 2024 needs at least 3-6 months of serious development before it can offer reasonably smooth experience. And yet you show it all the time … I understand it is what many viewers expect after all, but could you comment on the experience in general? It isn’t only me, many content creators have similar opinions.
In fact on my system 2024 runs miles better than 2020. It is a lot more stable (really!)! 2020 used to crash to desktop all the time when I did longer flights, up to a point where I only did extremely short flights in the time just before 2024 came out. 2024 on the other hands side - once a flight is loaded - runs dead stable. The first week after its release was not good, but ever since my sim runs just fine. There are issues every now and then, like when clicking through the menus very quickly, where it may crash. But I have only had one single CTD in the time from 2 weeks after release until now, which happened when I taxied into the gate and zoomed into the guidance system of an officially not yet comparible airport. Apart from that it's reliable and stable. That's my experience at least. I haven't touched 2020 since about two weeks after the 2024 release.
I am very surprised to hear that, certainly not a common experience. Happy for you though. Maybe you are using it in a ways it was originally developed and tested. Certainly VR is in a very bad shape still, and I am VR simmer. Good luck!
@@jarekp4421 I had a lot of CTDs with FS2024, turns out that I was getting NTFS errors from one of my NVMe drives and ended up replacing it. May be worth checking your system event log and checking for local issues. As the sim is streamed live to your local machine to your cache folder before being rendered any local issues will be a lot more obvious. I will add that since doing that my sim has been 100% stable, I feel I owe Asobo a lot of apologies for some of the names I was calling them.
@@jarekp4421 I can only add to what Emi has said: It runs more fluid and stable than 2020. With one very annoying exception: Something is wrong with the VRAM and RAM usage near ground. I have it at default airports and add-on airports makes little difference. But as soon as I start the take off roll the frames drop considerable, sometimes making it virtually unflyable until I lift off and leave the ground. As soon as I'm above 50ft performance goes back to normal. Well not always, sometimes it only recovers about half the max performance and only recovers fully some time into the flight. It's never quite clear what causes it and when and if it will be over. That one is very annoying and it needs fixing. And yes, you are right there are some very annoying bugs in VR. That's why I haven't used VR as much in MS2024.
@@jarekp4421 I think his experience is more common than you think, I haven’t had any problems with 2024 since a week after lunch. I’m just waiting for more third-party airplanes to come on board. I will say it appears the new simulator requires a powerful PC and a really good Internet connection.

From what I see, you do not have bindings to move the throttle from the right hand detents to the flight position, only the mouse.
