We have two groups of ppl in my opinion those that behave and think that this was is good like fighting and arguing or respect. And then you have the proper way which is waht our normal civilized way should be the norm. Instead of committing crimes such as assault. I just can't with this I also agree but the reason they do this is for money we all know that , violence and sex sells. And they give no fucks about changing our community at all.

The problems with Zeus: their shows have no structure ESPECIALLY their reunion shows. They also do not showcase any type balance.

●they had fitness shows (Body By Bartl; The Qimmah Show)
●they had talk shows (Royal Chat; Talking Sh!t)

I hope you not that one person that loves to defend the negative that so obvious.😵‍💫 Ofc they got other shows but most of their shows are negative and make black women in America look like the stereotype the rest of the world and a lot of white ppl have on them. Such as ghetto women or women that are too masculine and love to fight their sisters instead of coming together. There can be some positive things but the negative sticks out the most. And we both know.... because of these shows all ppl will think of black women in this country is a *ghetto mess* that got no other sh*t to do that yell and fight about useless men who don't even care about them.
Idk why it so hard for them to make more positive type of shows🙄 where these women come together instead of always fighting. it very sad the stereotypes they are leaving on black women. And trust me when I say the positive of Zeus is less than the over all negative they leave..😬

That part. I always see people complain about people these days from tv shows to female rappers and to a degree I agree however, WE make it popping. The viewers. There are female rappers who don’t only sing about sex and whatnot but who do we push? The ones that do. We bring up the ones that don’t when we talk about how there’s variety. THE VIEWERS push these people. Any music that’s popping and mainstream is made that way due to marketing and viewer consumption. The ones that lose that consumption…flop

I don’t know if you’ve ever heard of the “hip hop letter”. I’m not even sure if that’s the title of it. But basically it was a letter written by a man in the late 80’s early 90’s I believe, right when Hip Hop was just becoming popular, who used to work in the music industry in Hollywood as a music exec. Basically in the letter he wrote how he, along with many other music execs were invited to this mansion in like the middle of nowhere by the “top dogs” of the industry and they were told that they saw potential in Hip Hop. But the potential they saw in it, was to make it the most negative thing it could be as possible, by specifically picking artists who would promote drugs, gang violence, sex, etc. because these “top dogs” were and probably still are major investors of the prison industry. And they saw the potential of hip hop to drive millions of black and brown men into incarceration and profit off of them in their prison industrial complex. He said that they were basically forced to sign documents and I believe even NDA’s, but apparently this man could no longer go through with it after and so he had to leave his job as a music exec and essentially disappear, but he wrote the letter anonymously for people to know to “clear” his conscience. Anyways, personally, to me that lets me know that Hollywood and the media in general do have a specific target on the black community to only show the worst parts of the community to honest in my opinion keep them down. I often see so much potential in the black community to thrive and flourish, I mean we've seen it before in places like Tulsa. But for some reason I always see nothing, but degradation of this community in the mainstream media. Especially in hip hop. So I do honestly believe that letter was legit.

I was hoping it was more of a mini documentary or something similar and I would learn more info than what could be taken by just watching the show. If you do go more in depth in the future, I would love to hear MORE about the histories of some of the people brought into Zeus as well as background insider info much of the public wouldn't know, etc. I like the format of this video, your voice, and the visual aspect but I think this informational could have informed us more.
