Absolutely NOT!!!! River Plate is all about the crowd, NOT THE MUSIC!!! ACDC NOOBS... STOP REQUESTING THAT CONCERT. TRY THAT SONG LIVE WITH THE ORIGINAL SINGER. RIVER PLATE is HIGHLY OVERATED!!!!! Y'all are so disappointing
This band is the reason why i'am a rock fan. Listen to them since i was 9 years old now for 44 years i play their music. As a 9 year old boy i saw the if you want blood vou've got it album at a neighbours house. When i saw the cover how angus sticks the guitar in his stomache and the blood i was totaly lost and facinated. Than the neighbours boy who was 13/14 years put the album on. As soon as the song if you want blood startet i know my destination and there has nothing changed since then. Ac/dc have this simple groove that makes my head bang and move ny legs and i can nothing do about it. The rythem section is so tight and i love the guitar solos. Angus never stands still when he plays. They are huge blues fans and you can hear it in the style they play their hard rock songs. Now here i stop because i can write letters about this band because there are so many memories in my live that stucked with this band. Let the as/dc groove catch you
This is Brian Johnson (their 3rd singer 1980-present) 10 years after joining the band after the death of their 2nd singer, Bon Scott (1974-1980). This song followed the bigger radio hit off this album, MONEY TALKS. Their first singer, Dave Evans was only in the band 1 year, 1973, and they didn't release any albums or singles that year, just lots of Australia touring. Angus and Malcolm on guitars, are the core of the group. They and the bassist, Cliff Richards, were born in Scotland and moved to Australia as kids, like their 2nd singer, Bon. It took them 4-5 years of Bon up front before they struck gold in America with Highway to Hell. Then, all their previous albums were re-released in big numbers just before Bon died in his sleep, in the back seat of a car, sleeping off a good drunk. This has become their biggest video hit (Videos were not really a thing when Bon Scott was leading, mostly tv appearances and some concert footage survived. )
That riff that Angus Young opens with … notice he’s not even using his right hand. It’s all left handed strength and dexterity. And just think, he keeps that little melody up through so much of the song. You could label Angus as lead AND rhythm because he keeps all their songs rolling with repetitive riffs.
The recording uses left and right hand, you can hear the pick attack. But the video he uses hammer ons & pull offs, which looks more impressive but is actually easier
It's picked, Rick Beato re-creates it, it's one string, but they say it's one of the hardest AC/DC riffs to do right. The song is studio and the performance is for the music video. Apparently, for live, it's fingered.
@@ramons8908 As a professional guitarist, Angus can do it any way he wants. Studio may be picked, but he loves showcasing his ability to play with one hand live. A showman to his core. 😊
AC/DC got started in Sydney, Australia in 1973, so they were almost 3 decades into their career when this song came out in 1990. The singer, Brian Johnson, joined the band in 1980 after the original singer, Bon Scott, died. Check out really anything from Brian's first album with the band "Back In Black". The title track or "Shake a Leg" will give you an idea of what his voice was like at the time. As much as I love AC/DC with Brian out front, I'm a fanatic for Bon Scott era accadacca. I think you'd dig "It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Want to Rock and Roll)". It's a bit slower, but it's got great story telling. Or check out anything off "Highway to Hell", but in particular (again) the title track, "Girl's Got Rhythm" and "If You Want Blood (You Got It)".
In the early 90s when I was a Plumber's Helper I worked with an older Englishmen, he gave a T-shirt he got on tour from that tour after I told him I was into AC-DC.
Yes!! 🔥🔥🔥 They're Australian, tho Bon Scott (original singer) was born in Scotland. This singer is Brian Johnson is their second vocalist. I love the crowd in this video! Angus Young (guitarist) would have to hop off stage to suck down oxygen from a tank in between songs from being so crazy on stage, lol. When they were first starting out, playing bars, the crowd was so crazy, the stage was basically in a cage lol. They are older in this video. Loved your reaction, as always! 🔥🔥🔥
If you want to see drums played with 1 stick, check out the later Def Leopard songs. AC/DC live is always great. Most reactors go to the River Plate videos
Love it, man! I was so excited for you! Now you need to watch dirty deeds done dirt cheap by AC/DC. Trust me. Do the live one from River plate. Same concert thunderstruck was from. Can’t wait!
Hi Stax, I’m popping up all over the place 😂 I’m loving your reactions🙌 The music we got growing up made us extremely spoilt, it also gave a lot of us a wide range of taste in music😁 see you somewhere on your channel🫶
there are two diffrent eras of ACDC the first with original singer Bon Scott and then in 81 with Brian Johnson. two different styles of singing. Bon sings(most of the time drunk) brian screams.
They formed in 1973 and have been going since then. Bon Scott hand pick Brian as his replacement should something happen to himself. They have an extensive catalogue to chose from. Have fun with this rabbit hole.
One of the best bands I ever saw Live! back in the 90s. Check out AC-DC; Back in Black, first record I ever got was that single, the B side was She Shook me all night long. check out this cover of Thunderstruck: th-cam.com/video/e4Ao-iNPPUc/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=SteveSeagulls
Have you listened to “Big L” yet? If not you should listen to the likes of “platinum plus” or “7 minute freestyle with jay Z” he’s widely considered a top 3 rapper of all time, he sadly passed in February 15th 1999 by a drive by shooting, most known for his freestyles and insane word play, R.I.P 🕊️
i say when you're noddin you're head the song already got u. However, when this video came out they were more of an older rock band. Their real hits were in the 70s and even though this song is a banger it was not contemporary to the times and more trying to capitalize on the concept of music videos. Hence the "colosseaum" of rock banging fans.
He was talking about getting smacked with that good good. A train too far down the track he couldn't turn back can I come again please go ahead go back and look at the lyrics
The way you break down bars ' lyrics' you would love NF ! just start with the search song then go back he ties alot of songs and albums together he is dope

Both singers for AC/DC have the most unique voices I've ever heard.
If you want to hear the other singer, do Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.
That growl in the voice is unique and fits how hard the music is. Very energetic band and great if you feel lazy and have stuff to do!
Factssss
When I was in high school on football team, this is the song that would be played just before we would come onto the field
AC/DC started my love for music. they hold a special place in music history for me and fueled my guitar and music appreciation.
