You never heard good Hip Hop it seems. Its pretty much the same with all genres... i'm still listening to Hip Hop from 20 years ago and can't stand most of the new stuff. its more like a biased opinion we all have off you like what you grew up with instead off being objective. I used to be a DJ so I quickly learned how to filter the good stuff from the crap and I dont care about genres... a good song is a good song whatever type of music it is. But i agree that 99% will be forgotten after few months while the good songs are still good after decades.

  • @tracybillingsley2648

First off, you signal to everyone your complete lack of concern for the music by listening with a single earbud. I'm not sure you understand that the sound that comes out of the left speaker is not the same as what comes out of the right. Hours and hours are devoted to balancing the two in a way that adds another dimension to the movie. What you are doing is the equivalent of watching a 3D movie, but keeping one eye closed the whole time.
I'm not really sure what you are using to judge the songs you listen to. It feels like you are just saying you like this song because of all the dislikes on the previous video. I'm not saying you have to like every song. I love AC/DC, but there are songs that I don't really get into. That's fine, I have no problem with that. I just think that if you want people to start building a viewership, you have to do a bit more than, "I don't understand it," and, "I like it better than the other one." I'll give you partial credit for saying you liked the guitar, but what did you like about it? If you give viewers an idea of what aspects you like, they can give you suggestions for songs you might enjoy more.
    Keep trying.

  • @berretta9mm17
    @berretta9mm17 4 ปีที่แล้ว

Ear bud? An earbud? Good rock (and all good music) is meant to be listened to with headgear that will at least approach 40 Hz (preferably 20 hz) at the low end, and 20k Hz at the high end, and (if it is going to sound anywhere near as good as it was recorded), with a PAIR of 'Cans,' (a full earphone on each ear) on, so that you can hear the original ENVIRONMENT it was recorded in. Look up "Stereo Field" or "stereo image." You will learn that without both ears engaged in the music, it's like listening to a concert through a keyhole - literally. . The reason you use headphones, though, is only partly for the range: it's for the HEADROOM.
What has happened to younger people's understanding and enjoyment of even the best rock on the planet, is that both hip-Hop and pop is mixed using so much Compression (please - educate yourselves - it's so important!) that the music all has the same volume: as loud as it can get without distorting. "Headroom" means there is a difference between notes played softer than notes that are played loud. This matters TREMENDOUSLY in Rock - and any music worth listening to. A lot of (not all) Hip-Hop strips everything out but the Bass (and parts of the drums), and boosts the Bass up artificially until it buries everything else - and then, on top of that, way too many producers use Compression to get it even louder, until all you hear are lyrics and bass. And that's fine - as long as you KNOW what's being done to the music.
There is a time and a place for it - but not when you are listening to musicians who have literally spent their entire lives learning to excel at playing their individual instruments - recorded by expert audio engineers who have spent a lifetime learning how to record what was played.
You need 1.) 2 pairs of "over the ear" headphones - and not small, cheap ones: 40mm bass drivers, and a pair able to give you proper midrange and treble, and
2.) a headphone distributor (something you can plug BOTH pairs of headphones into, and get LOUD volume from) -
3.) and last - a headphone amplifier - NOT a phone, or anything with a tiny little, wimpy amplifier in it. Something powerful - a stereo receiver, or anything that isn't a little laptop, or a 'smart phone' or the equivalent of a little transistor radio.
They're playing into thousand watt amps, to a million people - until you can reproduce THAT (the environment) you will NEVER "get" rock.
You're wasting your time. Take some time to LEARN about how the human ears work, how mixing is done - what GOOD mixing is, and why - and the way sound travels, bounces, and works. This knowledge will not just help you understand rock music - your ability to understand ALL music will increase - including the music you already like (but probably have never heard the way the audio engineer who mixed it MEANT you to hear it).

Your friend Eamonn here from Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️. What poeple need to understand is this music was away back in the day. I love this music but that was back then and what people need to understand is that yous are just two young guys that’s looking at old school rock music. And then AC,DC put out a big show like this in 2009 I think. It’s ok if yous are not into this music. Is that so bad. NO. Yous maybe listening to the music that’s out today and that’s fine. For me I’m a young guy in his late 30,s and I love old school rap and some of the new school rap but don’t love most of the new school rap. I’m Eminem all day long. Have never stopped listening to his rap music. He is a god when it comes to rap. So what I’m saying is that yous can like music but you don’t half to like other music. So never mind what other people are saying about yous. There dumb. Anyway have a good one guys. Your friend Eamonn here from Ireland 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪☘️☘️☘️✌️✌️👍

I would suggest putting the name AC/DC in your title so you get more views. 👍 I recommend AC/DC- Big Gun. They do a music video with Arnold Schwarzenegger that is pretty sweet.

Great you like the Guitar work but the relationship between Angus and Malcolm working together on any given track (live in particular) is a rare and very tight offering of God like proportions. Given the chance it will saturate every pore of your being IF you can hear it so if you are going to tackle musicians of this magnitude with a single earbud then you do yourself a disservice and will miss what millions of others experience. ACDC formed 47 years ago and are still respected by young n old. Get some good headphones. You aint heard ACADACA yet.

To see how big classic rock is, go watch Enter Sandman live from Moscow. 1.6 million people in the audience. Such a shame you can't see talent. Music today has nothing to do with talent on instruments, for it is not even music. Nothing but machines. I have 3 boys and they only listen to classic rock, thank God.

20 years after the song was released, this concert was sold out 3 nights in a row with 300,000 people plus every night. That's over a million people in one weekend, live. Not bad for 5 old guys, way past their prime. huh.

You should seriously consider Iron Maiden and "Hallowed be thy Name". It is considered one of the best and most iconic metal songs of all time. It's not just loud screaming which you may believe all heavy metal sounds like. Besides if you want views... That's one of the songs that will get them. Good luck on your channel!

THEY WERE ALL IN THERE MID TO UPPER 50'S. THEY HAD 3 SHOWS AND OVER 227,000 PEOPLE PER SHOW. THEY WERE THE BEST ROCK BAND EVER. THEY DID NOT HAVE THE MOST NUMBER ONE SONG THAT BELONGS TO KISS. KISS HAD 29 NUMBER ONE HITS. THE MOST EVER FOR A ROCK BAND. TODAY MUSIC SUCKS. YOU HAD TO HAVE TALENT FROM THE 80'S BACK. THEY CAN MAKE JUST ABOUT ANYONE SOUND GOOD TODAY.

You have to take into account that at the time of this concert they had been performing for over 30 years. If you get some time and want to see the guitarist (Angus Young) get crazy on the guitar look up some of their live at donington songs from 1991. He gets wild with it. Don’t worry about haters boys. You like what you like. There’s no shame in that. Good reaction.

You need to watch the older version of this song in concert. You are watching the nursing home AC/DC who are as old as your grandparents. lol Find their music from the 70's and 80's. Angus can still shred that guitar pretty well for a man in his 70's.

You can’t listen to music with one headphone in and expect a good listening experience especially if it’s in stereo. Each channel has different outputs.
Over ear are nice but it’s more important to listen with both ears.
