Have you had any problems with trip counter and odometer being inaccurate? I checked mine with my phone and TF-100 counted almost 2 km more than GPS app did. Is there a solution to this?
Most of the time the speedometer can be off by a couple of miles per hr. That will cause the reading to be off, check your speed by gps if it says 25mph but the scooter says 28mph then adjust the wheel size to corect the speed, this will also change the distance of travel, Example of that may be the scooter says 10" on the wheel setting try to go to 9.8" play with the wheel size number until it give you the same reading as GPS.

If you were dropping it to 24 or 36 volts if the controller and the LCD displayer program correctly it will send less voltage to the motor which will probably read a little bit higher voltage. But it's a 48 volt system and needs to be set at 48 volts. As far as the bars on the LCD display it's useless you need to go by the voltage indicator. As far as charging it you probably have a 2.5 volt charger you could go up to a 3.0 charger and not affect the battery. As far as the battery showing three bars I would make sure it has a full charge and test it with a volt meter see if it shows around 54.6. If it does you may have a faulty lid display. Most battery manufacturers recommend sizing the charger at about 25% of the battery capacity (ah = amp hour capacity). Thus, a 100 ah 48 volt battery pack would take about a 25 amp 48 volt charger (or less). Larger chargers may be used to decrease charge time, but may decrease battery life. Smaller chargers are fine for long term floating, e.g. a 2 or 4 amp "smart charger" can be used for battery maintenance between higher amp cycle use, but would be inefficient or burn up if used to bulk charge large capacity, deeply discharged batteries.
My dashboard keeps making beeping sound and shuts off. I also noticed a USB slot on the back. How do I get the display to appear again after turning it back on. The battery is fully charged. The display is off and wont start. Any thoughts?
Never heard of the display making a beep sound that's weird. If your ignition switch works but the LCD display is not turning on then likely there is a wire between the ignition switch and the LCD display that the wire Has Come Undone broken or something to that effect. You can pull the controller out disconnect the throttle by tracing the wire giving it a couple of minutes plugging it back on to see if that will come back up if not it's possible it had a pinched wire. As far as the USB slot that is for mainly programming and used for auxiliary lights. It's not really set up for your cell phone if you try to put your cell phone in there sometimes it will kill the display or make the display go dark until you disconnect the phone.
Most Scooters or just that way. Depending on the controller LCD display excetera, possibly a different controller with a ey3 display would improve. This video helped me a lot. Just bought myself one a few weeks ago, btw, hope you don't mind me asking, which is also off topic from your video, is it possible to use a fast charger on this unit or not? If so, what fast charger would you recommend?
I would not use anything higher then a 3a charger iv heard of people using a 5a but this can shorten the life of the battery and a fast charger can also flood the battery in some cases overheating the battery and could catch fire, it's always to use OEM charger and I belive they are 2.5a if I recall, if you find a 3a charger for the kugoo don't cheap out on a 25.00 charger get a well built charger $50.00 +
@@theebikeguy3852 I'm tempted to buy a fast charger seeing that this unit really charges pretty slow, but I'm also cautious whether or not this is a safe way moving forward for me; and in my researches I have never came across a topic that talks about this, so I'm really skeptical to a point to use a fast charger at this point.
@@MrSpeedyduck like I said a 3 amp charger is okay but never leave any electric vehicle plugged in unattended and do not charge overnight there is a slight risk but still a risk if the bmms fails while you were asleep this could cause a fire. Or if the charger fails, this almost never happens but there is still that possibility so it's always best to use caution
