Thanks for the info and properly caveating it. I have suspected long COVID, and I was prescribed a course of Prednisone to handle severe allergies. The impact was sudden and large-- I feel SO much better. I don't know if it's the steroids, but the coincidence is interesting. I hope this effect lasts.
@@yc6407 Extreme fatigue, mental fog, and muscle pain primarily. The effects only lasted about a week after the course ended. I'm now working with a long COVID team, and they say my experience with steroids is common; this feeds into the theory that systemic inflammation is part of long COVID, but doesn't help figure out the root cause. And unfortunately repeated or prolonged use of steroids really isn't an option.
@@thomascaldwell184 thanks for the response! Happy to hear that you are feeling better. So the steroids only provides relief from symptoms as far as we know? Also did you get vaccinated before or after catching covid? If so all 3 or 4 boosters? 🙏
My brother takes roids since years after failed transition to female. He took 4 or 5 covid jabs and is still fine. On the other side i have friends who took 2 shots and gor totally wrecked... Take care this shit is not over...

Because covid affects the Lungs 🫁 and so does someone who has a chest infection they get steriods to help the Lungs. You are speaking rubbish as Long covid is recognised I have had it, I have also had steriods when I had covid to help my breathing and I have occasionally had atreriods with antibiotics when I've had a serious chest infection 🫁. Go do more teachers. I gave also been jabbed 4 times.
