Ok so I’m a Lil slow. I have a 1975 caprice. Doing an LS2/4L80e Swap. Already purchased my HDX. What else do I need to get everything working together?
@@DakotaDigitalTV Ok so in addition to the supplied sending units supplied with the HDX, the BIM-01-02, GSS-3000, and SEN-06-01 should have all of my gauges on my HDX working correctly?
@@HeavyChevy1975 The SEN-06-1 is only used if you do not have a fuel level sensor in the tank, so this may not need to be utilized. Quick question I ordered this for my 86 Chevy c10 it’s LS swap and I don’t not have the choice of getting oil pressure, my question is can I hook the oil pressure separate with the sensors it comes with?
yes. there are several ways of hooking up the included oil pressure sensor plug. all outlined nicely in pictures & text in the mounting instructions (i have an '85 c10 with LS swap)

What kit do I need for my 1990 c1500 with a 5.3/4l60e swap? It has OBD2 that I put in it with the swap. Does the "vhx" gauges come with all that you showed here? And do y'all offer military discount lol
Either the VHX-88C-PU or HDX-88C-PU will fit the bill for your truck; the BIM-01-2 is a separate add-on for both kits. We do not offer a military discount, but several of our dealers do!

What data will the bim-01-2 display when connected to a p01 411 gm ecu. If there is more data available with different operating system or vehicle connections I can change that on the ecu.

Hello will this work with a Coyote Swap from a donor Mustang? Do u offer Coyote Specific gauges? I have purchased a set of the VHx series for my 67 Mustang. Will it also read the speedometer ? Thank you
Thanks Pepe, The BIM-01-2 is a good choice for a Coyote swap. If you plug in a scan tool with real time readings and this displays the vehicle speed, then we can expect the BIM-01-2 will also display this information. The VHX series which you have already purchased for your Mustang should work without any trouble.
If I am using the BIM module do I still need to run 2 coolant temp sensors or just the 1 factory coolant temp sensor? I'm just about to start putting my gauges in and wang to make sure.
Vehicle speed will be available, provided the ECU is monitoring it. In order for the BIM-01-2 to read VSS info, you'll need to ensure the VSS from the trans' speed sensor is wired into the ECU properly.
So if I buy the BIM box and my trucks getting tuned , they have to plug into the obd 2 port, does all the gauges stop working? Or what is an alternate to that?
Hello Ulises, Yes, during any scan tool use, just unplug the BIM-01-2. If you'd rather not do that, a 'Y' adaptor could be used within the OBD II cable.
@@MOY5462 A standard OBD II Y adaptor can be obtained from various sources, but there are a number of them available on Amazon - search: "obd ii y cable"
I need some help! After installing this unit on my truck I get an GEAR X in LCD1 when I pull the headlight switch. It was working normally before I installed this.. but now I have to turn the lights off to make sure I have switched into the right gear. It’s working great in all other areas btw!

How would this work with an older vehicle, say a 1960 Cadillac Coupe de Ville, with an LS swap, with the ECM, and with the digital guage package? Would it work the same as on a vehicle which originally came with OBDI or OBDII systems?
I'm doing a LS swap on my 94 Chevy Impala and I ripped out all the old wiring completely if I buy this kid my gauges will still work without any additional wiring from the old LT1 wiring
Hello Kike, Yes, you could certainly use our BIM-01-2 in this scenario. Regarding the speedometer, you could utilize our GPS-50-2, or use the included speed sensor which attaches to the TH400 mechanical cable outlet.
Can you make a video ? It would really answer a lot of questions and you would probably sell more units because people can see how easy it is to install.
Unfortunately no, as OEM sender outputs and the required sender inputs to the instruments are different. Many senders look the same but provide very different signals; mixing them up can cause a myriad of issues.
Hey there Jason, With a SBC such as this, the BIM-01-2 won't be used. You'll just install the included sensor for Oil Pressure, Water Temp and potentially Speedometer.
