I'm normally fan boy blind to the minor issues this game has at release knowing mods will improve an already decent experience at launch, but with FS25 this is the first time I can say the experience is bad enough that what was released is completely unacceptable. Fundamental systems are broken and the economy is worthless for motivating you to do any productions for profit because the cycles are too long to matter. I can sell 4 years of bulk material in the time it takes the first year to process through a production in some cases, and the answer shouldn't be owning 15 of the same production. Tractor selection is horrendous. 10 less tractors than 22. JCB completely gone (wtf), no legendary small manual tractors, no electric tractor, almost no big wheeled tractors, agrotrucks also gone. Overall it's just sad. They used to at least complete the collection with official mods but they only have 2 tractors on that..
Thanks for the deep dive, Scroft! I have to say. This release has been so buggy we’re gonna need an exterminator 😂 Sure, other versions have been a bit busted on release, but never this bad. I remember when FS 13 dropped, there were some flickering glitches, but it soon got corrected. My beef with this version is the way stuff is just blatantly tuned wrong. Like the Meadows for example. AI workers are another hit and miss. Some fields work, others result in the AI just sitting there pretending to be blocked. I actually broke the intro tour by shutting off the combine, then I was stuck in the tractor and couldn’t start the combine to unload. 😂 It’s just embarrassing. I remember watching a few early access videos and the host would say something like “this isn’t the final version for launch and this will all be fixed” Right, looks like that didn’t work out too well. Really hope a patch drops soon. I know mods will improve the game loads, but it’s a bit sorry to see that the community is going to have to save this ship from sinking again. And speaking of which, why giants would delay GE 10 and not have given modders early access is beyond me. They should have prioritized modding from the beginning, not random factory tours and such that did nothing for the game. My rant for today lol.

@@RyanS493 Yeah Giants have gone crazy with this release. You could still harvest the beans and if you drove a trailer underneath it would unload but the visual of green beans was not in the hopper of harvester SMH
Nice video. When you do the Angus cow video, can you test to see if you need to feed the cows every month, or if they provide the same selling price living most of their life at 0% health and just feed them the month that you sell to get them to 100% health.
I also notice if you put the painting brush on the biggest you can paint the outside off the fence with meadows and the grass will show inside the fence.
my meadow doesnt work, i buy the husbandry and make a pasture, it does fill up and i have meadow, then the cows are eating from it and i give them silage but the meadow does not fill up even the pasture is full with grass, am i doin wrong or does it not work?
Is there public access to those spreadsheets, or at least an image of them? I would like to be able to reference them moving forward and incorporating milk into my own game.
Yep there’s a few bugs - some game fencing disappearing. Road signs flying, when I drive past. Dodgy chainsaw. Chicken coop in game just a “prop” - surely that’s not intentional since it’s in animals. Tried selling a field but had to first sell a building… which I didn’t place there. It’s still an awesome map but wow, super buggy. Think it was rushed to finish. Not enough testing.
So for continuous production, it looks like the best time to sell the cows is at 37 months so you get the 2nd calf out of it and all you lose is one month of decrease in value.
Before I start watching, curious if George will be narrating this one 🤣 since this is his expertise with all the Technical Decision Making he has to make. Thanks for the update mate.. Let's go!
Not planning on buying fs25 after seeing how little has been added thst actually affects gameplay, at least 22 added productions and expanded on it with dlcs
I raise my cow/calve herd on grass only. I dont keep them dry lotted on a mixed ration. There would be no way to keep going financially. At the end of the day, this is just a game
Looking forward to Sheep.. 70 sheep for me make almost 1mil a year, wool to cloth to clothes. Very little work needed. Push wool to spinnery, load clothes, and feed sheep if needed.. Done Much more profitable per acre than cotton, with a fraction of the work
Are there also bulls needed for reproduction, or are there not in game? If not its a bit of a shame, 1 thing is already good you see the diffrent between the young and old stock. (in vids don't have the game yet, waiting a bit till there are some good mod maps out and bug fixing, also need to buy ps5 first)
Hopefully the enhanced animal system mod is carried over soon. So reproduction requires bulls/rams/roosters or paying a vet to do it artificially, and pigs have many piglets and sheep have a variable number of lambs, more weighted to 1 or 2 with a small chance for 3, cows only giving milk after first calf, etc, etc
@Katastra_ they need to make it standard in an update even they need it standard in update in fs22. For pc and console. Console players can't get any mod from modhub. Thats sometimes a shame. You see a beautiful map and you can't download on console.
@@jenscasteleyn7112 I agree but with how long Giants takes to do anything I wouldn't expect it until the next game, if then. they seem to want things to be as simple as possible with as little depth as possible :/
I don't understand why Giants only let the meadow/grass be 40%. It needs to be 50% so that the cows can reproduce and make milk. Yeah, they want you to make hay/silage/TMR, but you could start with just grass, get some basic production going in, and improve as time goes on. Why bother giving meadow/grass as a feed if it's not gonna do anything?
Giants needs to increase milk profit and nerf greenhouses into the ground. its bizarre that i can have 2 greenhouses make more money then 60 cow dairy farm
I think its a balancing issue for cows. Sure in real life theyll be fine grazing, but you need a lot more area, and they have more expensives. Its not like they have vets or diseases in game either. If you just buy the cows and do nothing, you get milk, manure and more cows to sell? Thats just game breaking money maker.
Either Giants have no quality control at all or and most likely answer they were aware of all these bugs and decided to release the game anyway rather than delaying the game, in my opinion they owe everybody a refund.
