    Thanks my 2003 Ford Explorer has the same setup. You have showed me on what’s is under the rear panel. My front and rear system works good except I lost my cold air in the rear. Front is ice cold but not the rear. Thanks so much for spending the time to make the video.

    Thank you so much. I got SO much crud out of my heater cores! The back had pebble sized crap come out on the first flush! But I went from like warm in the back to HOT, and from no heat to great heat in the front. Your videos are the best!

    Do the front and rear air conditioners share the same freon reservoir? If not then where do you add freon for the rear AC?

    My wife and I worked on that rear heater core last week and we both found it pretty simple, but she is RELUCTANT to work on the front heater core... So PLEASE make sure you make another one of your great videos on how to get to that front heater core (Because it seems like a huge job) and I might be able to convince her to help me change our front heater core. Also I completely agree with you, ours is an ‘02 Expedition EB and it is a GREAT SUV and parts are easy to find and quite inexpensive. Keep up your great work!!

    2002 Ford Expedition... loosing water a gallon at a time from the radiator... with front passenger and back floors are soaked. Would you expect that the heater core front and back needs replacing?

    Is that rear blend door actuator for all the roof vents behind driver seats? I ask because my buddies wife had a 99 and recently the rear vents started blowing heat I know it’s the actuator I’m just trying to find the right location so I don’t have to guess . So if you can confirm that one of those actuators you showed are for rear roof vents I’d appreciate it or if they are controlled by the one under the front dash?

      Torx bits are available from Amazon or most big box stores. If you get a magnetic hex driver, preferably German-made (because of better magnets), the bits come magnetized during use and you won't drop screws when you take them out or put them back in.

    Can you do a video on how to change a subwoofer on a 2000 Expedition with the Mach audio system

    • @FixingWithPassion
      @FixingWithPassion  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would, but 2000 my model does not have a subwoofer...Its has one built into the radio, sorts. I found out this the hard way after trying to figure out why the factory radio sounded like it was in a can sound. Someone put the wrong radio in it. There are two different radios in the model with two part numbers. Both radio's will work, but one will have no base sound.

    ok that's pretty cool video, but do you know why the ac keep running even if you don't turn the control switch to ac, only from off to panel or the right side of the control switch, the compressor is running, never stop unless you turn the control switch to off position, well if you have any Idea for this problem. Okay thanks for your time. Great day.

    I don't have any hot air coming out of the front vents. I replaced the A/C compressor a few months back, working great. MY question (if you know the answer) is this repair going to possibly fix that issue? or would it have to be the heater core in the front? (which I did not know until now that there are 2. Thanks

    Great video. I recently flushed both heater cores in my Lincoln Navigator. Apparently my front core was in pretty bad shape and now it is leaking. Unfortunately I waited til December. Its getting a little to cold to tackle that huge job so I blocked off the hoses to the front core. Thankfully... like your Expy... I have 2 zone heating so I should be able to keep the cabin warm enough to get thru this winter. Defrosting may be a challenge though!
    Thanks for the informative video. You obviously know your Fords!

      Well if you can get a few days in the 40's and 50's, you could do this job. Its not that bad if you drag it out a day or two. I'm going to do a video on this soon....I need one soon also.

    Great video thanks for the help. I've got a 2011 navigator that I'm going to have to do this on. It's going to be the last Ford product I ever own. It blows my mind that a $70,000 vehicle is so poorly made. I've got a 23 year old jeep still on the original AC but for some reason Ford can't even make one last 10 years. It's pathetic.
