Isn't it obvious our so called elected officials now talk like colonial masters. The only difference is that they are our brothers and sisters. Colonialism still exists in Africa.

A panoramic view of Ibadan from the air still reflects the same rusty tin roofs today as it did when late Chief Awolowo was the first leader of Government Business and Minister of Local Government in the Old Western region in 1952. Some of us are thoroughly ashamed of the criminal neglect of our county by Nigeria's political elites. How this abhorent neglect of our communities has persisted without Nigerians hitting the roof is simply mind numbing. We wonder how much longer Nigerians shall remain the footstool of their unrighteous politicians?

Yoruba people thought to be parted from Nigeria is a matter of mouth, cutlass and gun. You can't leave Nigeria, unless you are not part of Nigeria before. Biafra case is different, the whole World known. Biafra has existed for good 3 years with all it takes to be a nation, before Nigeria entered them unaware and overcame them with support of other countries like; Cameroon, USA, UK, United Arab etc. So, Yoruba people should equire knowledge and plan well before rise up, to avoid killing innocents lives.

I am not moved by this issue that looks like s scripted movie to redirect the focus of Nigerians from the real issues of misgovernance that has pervaded our land.
In 21st century world a group of agitators would attempt a take over dane guns and hunting rifles. Is this a joke or something.
I watching the whole issue with closed eyes and observing govt action in swahili stylee, that's if you catch my drift. Nigeria my beloved sleeping giant being raped on all fronts, we are watching, i rest my case, but before i drop my line of thought, the present administration under Tinubu should leave this nollywood script and tackle inflation and affirm to citizens if they are still subsidizing fuel. Simple. I just dey waka pass ohhh

They are Dupe Onitiri group that wants to hijack Yoruba Nation movement from Prof Banji Akintoye and Sunday Igboho.
Point of correction though: Nigeria is NOT a NATION and can never be. A nation is a group of people with same culture and one language. Nigeria is a man-made country that isn’t working for the average citizen.
As Yoruba people, we may be sentimental about Tinubu’s presidency. That’s understandable.. I know he will outperform Buhari in so many ways. BUT what happens after his 8 years? Another Buhari comes in and take the country 50 years backwards.
As a farmer, I can tell you that all the benefits and gains that were recorded by GEJ government during Akinwumi Adesina as Agric Minister were destroyed during Buhari’s time. Today, the agric sector feels as though it never recorded such great achievements.
That’s why a new constitution should emerge to prevent unfortunate events that happened in Ibadan yesterday. I am not in support of Dupe Onitiri and her groups but I am not in support of One Nigeria either. It doesn’t make any sense. It is not sustainable.
