Y2K Survival Ration (1999) "Mil-Spec" MRE Taste Test 🍲 Beef Stew Civilian Meal Ready To Eat Review

- I can just imagine a doomsday prepper getting ready for Year 2000 with a couple cases of these Meals Ready to Eat. The MilSpec ration was produced by Wornick over two decades ago for the commercial market. They contain the same components you will encounter with a US Military MRE but the overall size of the meal kit is smaller. Coming from 1999, it's pretty mind blowing how fresh this beef stew emergency food pack was. These are still as good as any civilian MRE we have today.
Thanks for watching!

"These are still as good as any civilian MRE we have today." OR Civilian MREs today are no better than they were in 1999!
I remember this guy I worked with . He was absolutly sure everything would crash on Y2K . So he spent A LOT of money , he didnt really have , buying all kinds of junk , water , you name it ! Then Y2K comes and goes ......nothing happened , now he was stuck with all this junk , he couldnt take back . True story .
That was the same story for tons of people
Great looking meal but in the field it needs to have a FRH !
Wonder what the price point on those were back then.
Don't do it ✖️✖️
