    Paramedics used this to get me up off the floor the other day. It worked beautifully. Very safe.

    How to tranfer patint to a wheelchair after lifting him up?

    • @felgainsuk7181
      @felgainsuk7181  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks Mr Kusay. Normally the person would be able to stand and then move to the wheelchair. Otherwise the Raizer could be lifted level with the wheelchair seat and a transfer board could be used

    What is the weight capacity? What is the price?

  • @angelavonhalle5144
    @angelavonhalle5144 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Question unanswered in this thread. What is the weight capacity? Getting the equipment under the person and holding the weight seem tricky. As is the lack of an arm support for the person. Theoretically sounds great, but standing up after a fall seems unlikely. If a person falls in the first place, how to stand up after the fall seems very difficult.

    • @felgainsuk7181
      @felgainsuk7181  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thanks for the question Angela. The weight limit is 150kg - 23.5 stone. The Raizer is designed for people who can walk and move around by themselves, who are not injured by the fall, but don't have the strength to get themselves up. We would anticipate that they are able to position their own arms, and because they are uninjured, they will be fine to stand up after a fall, or transfer to their chair using a walking frame. I trust that helps?

    What is the price? Is it available in India and if yes, where is it available?

    • @felgainsuk7181
      @felgainsuk7181  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm afraid we only distribute the Raizer in the UK. I believe the Raizer distributor for India is Futuristic Products, based in Mubai.

      If this can be made to be less expensive it could be marketed to every single household in America. So many 911 calls are about someone falling and can't get up. A ridiculous use of EMS and hardly ever necessary.
