    I have never seen more honest review than this one, love you totally for that. BECAUSE i am a newbie (i know like million others), this video boosted my confidence on a whole new level. i love your tethering video too, you are a messiah for people like us who are just starting on a very tight budget, i literally felt like you are holding my hand and guiding me through this tons and tons of information that i am just blindly trying to ingest and you just breezed by and assured its all right to start low, you don't need super fancy stuff to show your calibre effectively, just be witty . you are one uber cool lady( you might see this comment in more than one video, because i guess i am like those super clingy toddlers who cling to legs of people they love)

      Another Nikon guy here, clarity of lenses and color reproduction is key for me. Waiting on the announcement also, in hopes of a Z7 with dual card slot or the D880 DSLR, not 100% convinced on mirrorless. Have the D500, phenomenal camera, and the D850, even better. Have too much invested in lenses to re-purchase, although there is a converter.

      Yep. I've got a big shoot for an important client starting this next week so I wanted to get the Z7 in time for that and to get comfortable with it. Joanie, do you like the scrim better than the diffusion paper? Or apples and oranges?

    • @TheBiteShot
      @TheBiteShot  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I use them interchangably. I had bought the scrim frame several years ago and had forgotten about it. The nice thing on this is that you can switch the diffusion with velcro so can go from hard to soft pretty easy. The rolls also move around if there's a fan going, so not so helpful if you're doing stop motion and need everything to stay exactly still for continuity :)

    Congratulations for the Z7!
    Two questions here
    For the light and airy vibe, do you overexpose some part of the scene?
    Second, have you used a fill card or light?

    • @TheBiteShot
      @TheBiteShot  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! In this scene there wasn't a fill card as I was getting enough fill popping up from the surface. Too many fill cards and photos start to look flat because of too much light from all directions.
      And if I'm working for print, I don't overexpose as overexposed areas don't print well. But, for Instagram and such as long as the subject isn't blown out, I don't worry as much.
