I found this useful. I have a doubt. My Renault Duster Diesel 110 is showing oil seepage at Air Intake Hose and excess oil from the Intercooler at the side where the hose connects to Inlet of Butterfly. The intercooler is bent due to a crash. Could that be a reason?

Whiel most part of this video is true, small amount of oil weeping at the compressor side is not necessarily alarming. Especially ford cars have residual oil almost always in the compressor side without any play in the turbine. When you know a turbine is worn the very positive sign is the play in the shaft. This is the only time turbo needs a service/replacement

I have a 2009 model Ford Fiesta diesel. I found oil on the compressor side of the turbo, but the turbo shaft has no play( no wear on the shaft). One mechanic said its because of the back compression in the eng cylinders and some rings may be faulty. Also compression test says all cylinders compression is normal. so what might have caused the oil on compressor side of Turbo

Clean your intercooler it has oil in it, Check your silencer, if it has oil in it take it out put it in fire it will get rid of it. If you have starting trouble get you injectors serviced....!

Yes, micra me intercooler nahi hota, if your turbo, egr, injectors are OK then may be your MAF sensor or oxygen sensor is faulty, fuel pressure regulator or high pressure pump/FI pump may also have an issue. Clean MAF sensor and check, Also check your engine oil level, if engine oil level is too high then also engine produces black smoke....! If anybody having OBD2 scanner there, scan your ECU it will help. Also you can do engine compression test see if there's any compression leaks.

नया टर्बो कितने का आता है मेरा टर्बो खराब है वह लीकेज हो रहा है क्या करें इसका बदला दे या नहीं क्योंकि 300 किलोमीटर के ऊपर 1 लीटर ऑयल कम हो रहा है और सालासर में ओवल आ रहा है और कोई प्रॉब्लम लग नहीं रही इसका मतलब तो वो खराब है
Nahi, turbo Nahi hoga iskta karan, may be its a tappet noise or in worst case may be it's a connecting rod big end bearing, in this case if this bearing is worn sometimes pistons hammers on the head. Turbo not works at idling rpm. Check your engine oil level and any oil leakage...! Show it to the better Mechanic hi will sort it out...!

Exhaust side oil presence can also be because of engine inner leakage (combustion side). How can one be certain about turbine leakage in that case?

Check for PCV/ oil seperator ventilation. Sometimes due to bad PCV circuit, Turbo sucks oil from oil seperator

If anybody having OBD2 scanner there, scan your ECU it will help.
