Well, despite not winning that first game it was a valiant effort and comeback from 0-4 to 11-12. That could have easily gone differently with one small thing, like for example the Raven sticking with the Marauder instead of going hunting.
More like they had no right to lose that, considering Baradul's team had two zero damage players, two players under 100 damage and two more under 200. Matchmaker? What matchmaker?
@@Talendale Talendale Hmm, good catch. I noticed that the Marauder at the end couldn't seem to hit really easy shots at point blank range. It seems like I've heard Baradul and TTB say recently they've had a hard time finding good games. Maybe that represents a declining player base?
@@BrokenCurtain, I'm from Germany, so I know that quite well... but it should be pretty clear to everyone that that wasn't meant by gfarrell OR me, so linking these to things together is kinda unnecessary to say the least...
I like to run a shadow cat prime for hunting those little buggers. Lx-5 and a tag on one arm, a medium pulse on the other, with srm 6 on the shoulder. You can’t run little one, you can’t hide.
I've played this one a few times and it's decent for brawling. The ECM and HLL/ERML build is still better in my opinion because it gets higher mounts, better convergence, better range, lower exposure time, and reduced visibility at the cost of a little alpha and arm lasers.
Used each build for ~50 battles. Still can't pick a favorite. I think ERML is a tiny bit better overall but still love to run the HML build too. Maybe I play it wrong.
Could you not go 4 hl and 2 hm? 2 hl and a hm in one group and another 2 HL and the other hm in the 2nd group. No ghost heat, but would this mech basically explode anyway? 92 alpha looks attractive.
In the first game, the Raven should have stayed near the other mech, instead of trying to hunt down the Locust, since the Locust needed to get close. That way, the Raven could have kept the other mech (a Marauder?) safe from the close-range of the Locust. Oh well.
Also works on the HBK-IIC-A. Altough it runs a little bit hotter, it is faster and vastly better at peeking ridgelines due to it's high mounts. Bara made a video about that build a long time ago and it is still one of my goto mechs
Check again. It's the chassis bonus (*correction: left torso bonus) you are refering (turquoise), but the omni bonus (8 parts) is written in yellow latters below that.
Hello Bara! Love your vids. Just wanted you to know that its cat-eh-gory (eh as in meh from the simpsons) not cat-ee-gory. As other have said before, your command of the language is quite good.
Mechs like the locust are why I gave up MWO. Because of the poor hit box/lag compensation code they are pretty much invincible running around at full speed. They are far too maneuverable...
Probably not only you. But a lot of 'pro' players love to play just like that, and PGI just doesn't understand this is not exactly what many people expect or properly represents BT books, lore or previous games.. Yes, light mechs really can have an impact on a match. But not like this. No heat penalty on movement, too little terrain penalty on movement, no skidding, no falling, no physical attacks, no collision. All of that favors fast mechs. Yes, on the opposite side there is pinpoint damage and huge alpha strikes. But tbh, balancing a bad thing with another bad thing - not smart.
7/8 Heavy Med Las with ECM is more fun. Sure it's less effective, but with a name like Hellbringer, it just makes sense to bring the fire's of hell with you.
Lights are so OP in the game :) They are about the size of a protomech, carry more weapons then an Atlas, can run around at frenetic speed and have tinee weenie hit boxes :) I guess that's the only way to include them in the game due to it almost always being a close range brawl. If they were canon they'd be dead in seconds trying to do what they do. The sad part is some of their pilots think its skill, not an OP advantage... LMAO, each to their own of course :)

@@stormthrush37 Given the Steam numbers are under 1K at this point, yes. They absolutely are.
Bara killing TTB? The German-on-German violence is appalling!
Appealing, you mean? :-P
There actually was a right-wing terror attack in Halle a few days ago, where two people were murdered by a German neo-Nazi.

Baradul, you monster
@Jane Doe European right wing. A la early 20th century.
That laser sound makes this mech the Inceptionbringer. BWAAAAAMP.
Heavy large laser sounds like C# note, heavy mediums sound like F. Baradul is shooting sound is grand Terz. =)
Looking sophisticated today Baradul
That locust player was really good.
Yeah too bad he can't just punt the Lil thing...
Players like him are the reason I run alot of streaks now 😁
Finest mech in MWO :)

Love this build. In fact, I absolutely love all your builds that wreck faces while staying relatively cool. More of this please!
the laser burn on this thing sounds like God
That 1st game was insane!
I used to run this same build on a Cougar variant. I understand why they removed the ability to do so
The sound of those HLs

That locust though
Streaks wreck lights at that range! Stupid fast? Streak answers!
TTB are not so lucky with stalker.
No Problem, he can still blame the team for his defeat.
Haha i love your outfit! Im sure its because its cold or something but all you need is a VR helmet and youll be a mech pilot! :D!!
Took Mr Mechjaneering. Nice.
TTB is down!!!....again...))

Thanks for the vid sir.👍🏼👍🏼
Without the ECM in play, ebon would run this way better.
I think the lasers look and sound so much better in mwo tan mw5
im gonna try this build right now ^^

Thats why you should do this build on the virago, or else you would lose the benefits.
