We have followed your family sinec Homestaed Tessie mentioned you all in a vlog several years ago. We always enjoy your posts and have learned a loy about farm life and canning. Thank you. May you have a good weekend, and stay warm!
Thank you Janice!
Always enjoyable spending time with you out in the garden.
Thank you!
Pat is so cute. He was trying hard to get those posts out.😄
Strong little dude 💪
Here I am in New England, Marveling that you can wear short sleeves and work on your garden in January. Everything here will be frozen hard And snow covered until at least March. All I’ve done so far is buy seeds and dream. Raised beds work well in our short season, They actually warm up a little earlier than the ground and all I do is make holes in the winter mulch before I plant.
I will say this is not typical weather. We’ve had a couple nice warm ish days, but it’s right back to frozen ground tomorrow!
Baby is growing so fast all of the kids are so cute it's been a little while since I got over here to check your out your channel out I always did love it I hope you're all doing well i have to try and catch up a little bit blessings to you and your family
Blessings!
I've been doing root crops in containers lately. I have heavy clay under my topsoil and plenty of rocks as well. My perennials are in ground and anything I think is going to grow much taller than me. There's always something new and improved to think about 😂
It sounds like you’ve got a good system going!
Looks like you have made more progress than we have We like a combination of raised beds qnd in ground for our soil.
We do too!
I raised tomatoes in a raised bed & in the fabric grow bags last summer. I did water several times a week but it wasn't too bad. I had lots of tomatoes. I'm in the Piedmont region of NC
Thanks for sharing!
I totally agree about the netting. So many animals and birds get tangled in it. It's awful stuff. I have no idea why it's seems so popular. Thanks for the video!
It really has been just one issue after another
You’ll get it.
With the good lord by your side it’ll get done. It’s frustrating and exhausting but just know give it to God for his help.
Prayers and blessings to you all for a successful Garden this spring.
Thank you Debbie!
@ your welcome .
I’ve never understood the draw to that poultry netting, or the “move any animal daily” idea. I don’t have the time or “want to” for any of that. Also, end of year garden cleanup? In the words of the Grinch “loathe entirely” 😂😂😂
We did the “move the coop 2x a day” chickens once. Awful. 0/10 do not recommend unless, maybe, the animals are your job job.
Almost time to breakout your big sombrero hat again!!
I’m excited!! 😆
