great work. I see other crafters sanding the glass surface first, I don't see you doing that. Does it adhere well without sanding? I hate sanding so I was glad to see your way if I understand right
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle good to know, thank you. I'm just watching more of your videos now. really good, well explained stuff. I've subscribed. When I start trying tumblers, glasses etc I'll make sure to credit you in my video
Yes its not going to come off. The only drinking vessels I see an issue with using personally are soft plastic cups (these can flex and chip the epoxy off) and the shot glass molds (will the use of alcohol inside break down the epoxy?) .
They both turned out beautiful actually they all turned beautiful. I’m going to try this soon. Thanks for sharing Rae 👍😍
Definitely try simple and inexpensive compared to tumblers!
They are both beautiful. Im not even a "green person " but i love the green/gold one.
Thank you this lesson so very helpful and your work is beautiful!!!
Comment on appelle l'appareil qui tourne les verres s'ils vous plaît et merci

These are fascinating!
So simple and nice!
Can you do this on candle jars?
I wouldn't use a real candle with anything I epoxied personally.
Where do you get the spinning things?
The Turners I use most from amazon

Did you use electrical tape for the rim?
Yes! I even remembered to go back and pull it 🤣 that's my biggest issue with taping cups is I forget!
what are you using to have the glasses rotate ????
Cup Turners like I use for my tumblers
i wish you were teaching classes locally...
Is it safe to use epoxy and alcohol inks on wine glasses? Ive heard that it isnt but cant find any real information out there.

Lovely!!!
Thank you 💙 you are the best xo
Do you put a final epoxy coat after it drys ?
Typically yes because these don't tend to dry smooth and flat as a first coat for me. So I tape off and clear coat one more time.
@@RaesTurquoiseTurtle thank u so much for your reply ❤
Is epoxy safe to use on glass? Can you actually drink from it?
Absolutely safe on glass or ceramics. The only think you shouldn't put epoxy on is a soft plastic that can bend and cause the epoxybto chip off
What’s the total drying time? Does the epoxy wear or wash off? Lastly, I can’t find the link to your waterfall glass method. It’s gorgeous!
Heya did you ever find out ?
