Got to try some focaccia bread! I've made no knead bread for years but never focaccia - looks fantastic. Yeah I need to love the fabric as well - how it feels and colorwise. I'm trying to be sure my choices fit into my wardrobe so I'll wear them a lot because I don't like them to sit around unused. I think your spincycle sweater will be really lovely!
Yes!! It’s so yummy!! Yes that’s the struggle. I can get so excited about projects, then about 1/2 way through I think, am I going to wear this?! Luckily I have several knit worthy friends who are happy to take them! 😍❤️❤️
Your color choices are so beautiful! Look forward to this informative and wonderful podcast so much! Thanks for sharing your fiber life with all of us ♥️
Hi ❤, just wanted to say that I have been watching you for years now and I love your podcasts and what you make and you make me smile while I watch and knit along 😊xx
You are so gifted, such beautiful projects you have on the needles. Your sweet kitties 🐱 They live the good life. The focaccia bread was calling me. Lucky for me I was munching on a freshly baked pecan pumpkin spice cookie. 😊 cookie. StitchedbyMimi
I getting more into garment knitting. I hope to make several short sleeve/light weight versions for summer and am still on a leaning curve about which fibers/plys/ weights work best with which garments. So I enjoy your talks about anything related to those topics. Thanks!
I totally agree I need to love the feeling on my body. I can not wear cheap wool, I would rather make one expensive sweater than loads of budget friendly. Thanks I enjoy your channel. 🏴
I was inspired to cast on a 1x1 rib blanket using your recipe/pattern. I really like how it’s coming together but hate knitting with such big needles! As to how I choose which sweaters to wear, I think first is how the fabric feels, then fit, and finally color.
I think the fabric makes it for me too, but so does the color. I'm thinking I may have an alpaca allergy which will rule out fuzzy stuff... But I do get bummed when it's not what I was hoping for. You make and learn. Love the fur-babies. Always fun hanging out with you! - Kimberly
Thanks for a great podcast it has kept me company while I’ve been knitting on a shawl I’ve just cast on and I’d like to gift at Easter. Yes that is a week away and I only just thought to cast it on yesterday . I love wearing very lightweight sweaters so mostly 4 ply. I do get weary by the time I reach the sleeves I can’t wear mohair at all but for love notes etc I’ll hold a lace weight merino with a 4ply. I have a few heavier Felix sweaters that I wear when I’m really cold two out of woollen spun yarn I wear a lot and one out of a worsted spun yarn that I don’t like the heaviness of. The focaccia looked delicious.
Hello 👋 from Australia 🇦🇺 Shannon, thanks for a great channel. That’s a great idea for a blanket using scraps. I don’t have a cat but intend to cast one on in the future. Regarding what I zone in on for choosing a garment knit would be comfort of yarn and colour and type of knitting pattern, as I like to try something or a technique I haven’t tried before. Happy making. 😊
Thanks so much!! I meant to say people can make the scrappy pet blankets and donate them to shelters. I’d just wash them a few times so they felt if they’re going to felt. 😍❤️❤️
I love all your knits and find you very inspiring! You said that you were destashing fiber but I can’t figure out how to find it. Can you share a link? Ravelry is no issue for me.
WOW!!!! I love your spin cycle sweater Stunning
Thank you so much!! It’s fun to make!! 😍❤️❤️
That Chiaro is fabulous and the Milton. I’m swooning over it!😍😍😍 you’re surrounded with rainbows in this episode 🌈🌈🌈

Oh yeah, those big needles are clumsy! Thanks for sharing!! 😍❤️❤️
Your cat blanket would be a great way to make a scrap shawl.❤
Oooo, interesting!! I hadn't thought of holding multiple strands together for a shawl! ❤❤❤

Same!! Although not allergic to alpaca but I find it way too warm as I run hot! Thank you Kimberly!! 😍❤️❤️
I enjoy your podcasts!!!

I love all your knits..... And now your bread baking... Do you use a stand mixer machine to mix your ingredients?
Yes if I am making a fortified mixture like this one! Regular sourdough I do by hand. 😍❤️❤️
