Hi, my name is Erik and I'm from Brazil. I thought your work on animal registration was fantastic, the photos were of incredible quality. I started recording fauna about 3 years ago here on my small farm in Brazil, in the state of São Paulo. I only record with trail cameras and import them from the USA, as they are not available for sale here. I never thought there would be so many species of animals around here, I was very surprised and especially by the number of pumas, each record was a surprise. Without further ado, congratulations on the channel, I watch your channel using Google Translate on TH-cam. Best regards, Erik.
Great video Neil! I have had rodents cut the cables to my solar panels multiple times now. I bought some copper mesh that I cover the cables with. I know there is a genuine anti rodent sheath you can get, but I need to purchase a length of 80 ft which is more than what I need.
Brilliant photography!! - You are a natural story teller and it's refreshing to see your enthusiasm take precedence over 'in your face acting!'. You deserve the results you get because you certainly put in the effort. Many of your photos on your website are the most stunning I have seen, keep it up and I wish you continuing success. I am inspired to rework this sequence that I took many years ago during the day, and get some night shots as Wombats are mainly nocturnal.: th-cam.com/video/lqirNJ_2UWo/w-d-xo.html
Great stuff as usual Neil,,i have started camera trapping late last year, but not had any thing great yet, but will keep at it..I,m in the UK,, so no Bobcats here ..lol..cheers Den
Those are some fantastic shots! You're aperture at 5.6 doesn't seem very deep, but the pictures all seem to have good focus. Where did you set your focus point to get sharp images through the whole area the animals were in?
What a great video that was about your property in January with the great bobcat catches. I was wondering what kind of trail camera trap you're using the 1 that you opened with 1⁄2 door and LEDS w/ readouts? That you were able to read so quickly. What a great video. I know it's so exciting every time you go and check to see what you've got. I've looked into getting the actual camera traps like you but right now I'm still gonna stick to the trail cameras.
Neil, you absolutely nailed it. A well made, informative, interesting and absorbing video. You clearly show the planning, dedication and devotion which go to make up the successful cam trap image. Seems like an added potential point of failure so I'm curious to know why you risk the shot by hard-wiring the trigger rather than employing the wireless trigger, is it a faster response when wired?
Congratulations! So happy your efforts are paying off so quickly. Love the video too!!
I'm in love with that bobcat!
Thank you for bringing nature and all that she has to offer, into our homes!
Magnifique 👍
Excellent!
Awesome
Nice!

What kind of trail camera would you recommend for someone who has never used one?
