Nice quality video. Excellent touch leaving the trap firing on your hand while smoothing the cover - most you tube trappers don’t leave the mishaps - cause we know it happens to all of us at least once per season.
Nice video! Yes, the blind trail set is my GO-TO coyote & bobcat set in the winter. There is a time & lace to use the Mafia set BUT I much prefer the blind trail set. Deep snow is great but mine setting style will work just as well on bare ground. Blind trail setting can be as efficient as using snares except you can carry a dozen snares into an area easier than a dozen NDZ with drags! LOL My channel has a handful of trail setting videos if anyone is interested in learning blind trail setting.
That’s right! Worse thing we can do is go into an area telling the area what set we’re going to use instead of letting the area tell us what we’re gonna use! I’ll check out your videos💪🏼
U can go thru depending on the way u bend the dog. U can get a little heavier or lighter pan tension. I go thru check my duke or mb 550's. I want 2.5 to 3 pd tension. Then, every time after a coyote catch.
I run alot of Bridger #2 & #3 dogless 4 coil offset fully modified. Dont over look the Duke #2 dogless 4 coiled . I bought a dz laminated the jaws. I cant tell any difference in the duke and brigder. For the money that duke #2 dogless is a good trap. All i done was ajusted the pan tension. Laminated the jaws. Clean oil off then set. I did add another mb swivel.
Mostly in my areas they are in thick brush where the rabbits will be and in low draws. Eventually every trail around here will have a cat on them but majority of the low points and cutovers from thicket to thicket is where I hit.

It only happens to you once?🤣 I get hit about 100 times not paying attention!

Nice buddy. Ill have to try this out.
Yes sir! It’s an easy one😁
Nice job on the catch and on the video. Beautiful cat! I did notice the video doesn't quite fill out the screen on my phone.
I think it was an accidental push of a button in the editing process🤣 thank you boss!
@@Feral-ishOutdoors Hey I'm still learning how all this works too.
👍👍👍

“And that’s what happens” should be on a hat
That happening happens more times than I care to admit
How can you find a bobcat trail
