I really like what you said in this video, like "work for this company but the company and work doesn't define me" and "it's the people that can really make you stay at a company".
I had the same feeling when I saw some of my colleagues left the company due to the "cost optimization" process before. It was so sad during that period, but in the end everything will be OK. We just need some time to think about it and move on. :)

I'm glad you're safe from the layoffs. I truly wish you the best! These profit-induced layoffs with little regard to people's livelihoods and lack of warning inherent in these silent purges are deeply upsetting. The layoffs completely overlook just how massive teams have to be for projects. I'm truly considering moving from Spotify to another provider, but they all seem to devalue human workers... Thank you for reminding people to not feel loyalty to companies as, at the end of the day, we're just disposable and replaceable to them. Your value as Lillian should never be undermined by that and you are irreplaceable to so many of us who look to you for motivation, advice, and even just chatter. Stay strong!

Hi Lillian. Just a suggestion. You should listen to your partner about what he doesnt like. For instance about the meeting while you are cleaning. I have the same problem with partner before but we manage to talk about it. Since its work and work provides as salary which we will use to pay the bill, you should work it out together. You also mentioned that, you always clean while he is in a meeting and making noise, for me that disrespectful. Imagine if he will do that to you while you are on a meeting. Just a suggestion. Thank you.

In a weird way it’s kinda refreshing to see a couple having a real moment on TH-cam (the little squabble about cleaning while on the work call). I think that so many influencers go out of their ways to present this sorta perfect life aesthetic and it really rubs me the wrong way because of how it affects people’s outlooks on what a relationship should look like. Good for you for not editing it out, and yeah, great job cleaning but maybe listen to your guy and work through when is an appropriate time to do it. Great video✌🏽😃✌🏽

Have the same experience being a "survivor", definitely feeling "weird" instead of sad when people you work with everyday have to leave the next day... I'd recommend take some time to process your emotions (it's not a common experience so our emotions sometimes are delayed)

I already felt scared simply listening to you describing the laid-off process. Like when the company informed everyone if you got an email from HR in two days, how are you going to work like normal in that two days 😫, it's such a torture no matter you're on the list or not cuz you just don't know

Hi, I think you should communicate and listen to your partner when these small conflict occur. You were being dismissive when he tried to communicate with you. Your partner is doing his best to resolve the issue, but you didn’t choose to listen, you just gave him your drink instead.

有人可能會說用別的時間做，但是呢，家事跟工作一樣重要，一樣排滿滿，不馬上做就是會堆積
可以達成協議，適用雙方：要在公共空間工作就不能要求另一方安靜，而另一方盡量小聲
