Great cabinet, nice color for that cabinet and amazing hardware(the pulls) and very nice touch, even if wasn’t intended, that oak stained plate is just adding value to the piece. Great job guys.
Really nice, Jeff. Great project and installation. I was wondering if you were going to clock the screws and then you did. I was thinking about a divider so part of the drawer could be used for storage without blocking the charging. Bill
Thanks, Bill! I always clock my screws 😁 Personally I like to go parallel to the long side of whatever it is. A divider is a good idea but as you can see you can fill up a 30”+ drawer pretty fast!
Nice one man. Good tip to pad out the outlet in the drawer to gain that 2". Question - did you have to trial where to set that first screw on the arm? I've found that if the arm is racked slightly then it may struggle to close the drawer flush, or smoothly. Also frustrates me that the arm wants to pull the drawer closed slightly, but all together it is a great product. 🎯
Thanks! We ended up just shifting it slightly in the slotted holes after the initial install. That’s definitely the only tricky part of the whole operation.
What about servicing after installation? When you no longer have access through the open top how would you, for instance, even remove the drawer since the Docking thing kind of attaches the drawer to the cabinet?
Remove the screws and pull the drawer out by feeding the box back through the hole. They’re tested to 500k operations I believe so they’ll last a few lifetimes.
Nice work as always! Are you able to remove the docking drawer without taking the countertop off if you needed to replace it or access the outlet for any reason?
sharp, beautiful color and finish on those cabinets too!
Thanks, Kevin! 🙏🏼
Really cool hardware and a beautiful build~! That is a great shade of blue as well. Nice work as always~!
Thanks, Andrew!

Thanks so much!
Great video as always Jeff. That’s a very great idea definitely going to keep that in mind. Thanks for sharing
Thanks, Jim! Glad you liked it!
Beautiful cabinet build Jeff and that docking drawer is way cool! 👍👍
Thanks, Steve!
Very cool Jeff. I love that such a great idea...🤘🤘🤘
Thanks man, appreciate it!🤘🤘🤘
That’s really nice!
Thanks, Mark!

hi Jeff. I like the leather apron. May I ask where you purchased it?
Thanks! The one and only Calavera Tool Works. Worlds best 💪🏼

Thank you!
Absolutely. Just unscrew the box and feed it out sideways as you remove the drawer. Basically eh opposite of how I showed putting it in
@ Sweet thanks for the reply, I wasn’t sure if the pivot arm prevented that
Any time!
I want to comment to help the algorithm, but all I can come up with is inappropriate jokes about the mess in Jeff's drawers....
Hahahaha how many can you think of?
@TodaysCraftsmen I'd tell you, but I don't go after low hanging fruit...
😂😂😂 c’mon we gotta drum up some comments lol
@TodaysCraftsmen no I'll leave the mess in your drawers to you and your wife...
😂😂😂
I only love my kids to an IKEA level.
😂😂😂 better than Walmart!
No you can't do this in "any drawer." Those things need a minimum drawer width (12" or something; I forget).
I don’t think you’re going to want to install it in a drawer more narrow than that. Probably not a good idea to put it in a 9” deep drawer either.
