Electric Callboy, in DND terms, feels like Tiefling Bards having too much fun switching from common to demonic and back but still keeping the tune...always fun and serious about the songs but not serious about themselves too.
As others have said, We Got The Moves and Pump It are probably my next recommendations, but I also personally love Spaceman and Arrow of Love. Ugh, really it's all nat 20's in my book since Nico (the clean vocalist) joined the band.
There are several versions of Hypa Hypa covered by different artists, I highly recommend the version from Saltatio Mortis. And for pure Electric Callboy try Arrow of Love, MC Thunder II, We Got The Moves, Pump It and for a more serious side of them Hate/Love or Mindreader. If you like to hear something accoustic, try Prism (live). Again a very nice reaction, thank you! Greetings from Germany. 😀
Thank you for this! 👍They are so fun and same time very good musicians. Greetings from Finland! (by Nightwish fan since 1998) ps. mayby I GOT THE MOVES might be good choice to next by them
There were two things happening in the last few years with the band: First, they got a new clean vocals singer replacing the old one (Nico added), and a year later they‘ve changed their name. Hypa Hypa was the first song with Nico. Wanna check out something older, go for MC Thunder I + II and Crystals.
Next song should be the official Hypa Hypa cover by We Butter the Bread with Butter (WBTBWB). That's the definiton of you think it's crazy, let's show you what's really crazy. It's funny, it's hard, it's over the top. Then do WBTBWB - 20 km/h, a wonderful song about electric scooters.😁
The video features 2 groups of dancers. Electric Callboy for the most part but in the second half they add a second group called the "Spandauer Hardbass Gang", a group of german streamers, youtubers and influcencers from Berlin, two of which are also starring in other videos like MC Thunder I+II, CastropXSpandau and Arrow of Love.
And the EC rabbit hole continues... 😂Also check their making of video's. suggestions: we got the moves, pump it, spaceman, MC Thunder I & II, fuckboi, hurrican, hate/love, mindreader, arrow of love, castrop/spandau. From the older stuff: crystals, the scene, niceboi, supernova, VIP, ... so many songs (i love all the albums)
"Good time" is definition of their music, it just shoots positive vibes into your ears and has me humming their tunes for rest of the week. Great new is, they are touring USA in late summer (got my tickets already) and their live shows are fantastic as well.
FUN SONGS/Videos: We Got the Move, Everytime We Touch, Ratatata, Spaceman, MC Thunder & MC Thunder 2. SERIOUS SONGS/Videos: Parasite, Hate/Love, Fckboi, Neon, Mindreader
Thanks for the fun reaction. 🙂 A little clarify of their earlier band name - they were Eskimo Callboy when the did Hypa Hypa. When they changed to Electric Callboy, they went back and rebranded their earlier videos. If you want to see one from before Nico joined as clean singer, "MC Thunder" is popular. 🙂
You can't go wrong with this band! Try "We got the moves", "Pump it!" or "Hurrikane" and have fun! I wish I could see this videos for the first time again! :)
You must watch the hypa hypa version of Saltatio Mortis. They are a German medieval metal band. A genre which fits perfectly to you. You should also check out the songs 'the Dragonborn comes', 'pray to the hunter' and 'my mother told me' by them.
We got the Moves could be next... or may be Hypa Hypa. Well ya, i know, you just reacted to that song, but wait there is more! How about a pop Version, a Countryversion, and there is even a mediveal rock version of this song, and they are all just fantastic!
You should also check out "Crystals" and after that "mindreader" by Electric Callboy, as they're some serious songs by them. (Crystals is with their old singer tho)
You'd made a Hypa Hypa parody? Lokk out for "Hypa Hypa" here at youtube - you'll find official covers which you might like. Topping the heavy metal would be the WBTBWB version, a hillarious medieval metal version is out by Saltatio Mortis, the Bosshoss made even a country version, Sasha has a Pop version and the 257ers a Rap song.
Hey guys, love your reactions as always. Rather than suggesting more EC (who I love!), I’d like to earnestly plead with you to react to a video called Hi Ren, by Ren. It is an absolute masterpiece that will blow your minds.. but I can’t tell you anything more. I want you to be surprised as everyone else when you see Ren for the first time. It is music that gives broken people hope. ❤
Hey Rana! Thanks so much for the suggestion! It has been officially added to our watch later file and we will get to it very soon for ya! Thanks for the support and the comment!
@@criticalhitsbadmisses Oh yay!! Thank you!! Ren is trending a lot lately, so it should be good for attracting the ‘RENegades’.. his very loyal fan base. Good people. ❤️
@@criticalhitsbadmisses they are a horror concept metal band um “hip to be scared” would be a good starting point. But anything off their 2 newest albums is very well done
As D&D players, you might appreciate the Saltatio Mortis cover even more. Folk rock with bagpipes and hurdy-gurdy, and a memorable transition. th-cam.com/video/AOpHFHCko3s/w-d-xo.html
The aesthetics are a bit confusing to Non-Germans who don't know about German culture back in the 90s. The thing is, they aren't simply making fun of 80s fashion with the mullets and all that. What they are really making fun of is a phenomenon that happened in Germany and some other parts of central and north-western Europe (like the Netherlands) back then. A lot changed between the 80s and 90s. The coal mining and steel industries went belly up and tons of men who thought they had a future in certain heavy industries found themselves faced with unemployment or having to find other jobs. That basically created a whole generation of "peaked in high school" guys who felt very nostalgic for their youth in the 80s and kept dressing like that well into the 90s, long after everyone else had moved on. They were still running around in mullets and with handlebar mustaches and doing other tropes from the 80s long after it stopped being cool. Teens in the 90s used to make fun of those 30 to 40 year old guys who still hung around at rave parties and dance clubs, trying to pick up girls half their age while looking like caricatures of a bygone era. That is what this song and the weird mix of 80s and 90s aesthetics makes fun of and that is why it makes sense that the dudes look like from the 80s while the chick looks like a raver girl from the 90s and why there are those techno and boy band elements in the song.
Well i forgive you, that Nightwish isnt on this List:D EC for is just authentic Hillarious and on the other Side very Good Musicians. The whole Presentation, first an Musicvid, most Times an really great Making of, that simply is an Fun and relaxed Watch, including many Sidekicks from german Subculture genres /YT Channel Mods/P.rn Lady etc. (also all on YT), and then added an Live Version, and they really burn the Stages they Perform. Something that nowadays end Time preaching News and Politics counters complete without doing anyone Harm, just great:) Stay Healthy NWA Bavaria North
We Got The Moves & Pump It must be the next!!
Honestly the whole Tekkno album front to back is amazing, not a single skip on the album, and it balances fun and serious so perfectly 💯
You should see this song live, this band is a live monster 😂
"We got the moves" and "MC Thunder". Welcome to this, crazy and wonderful funny world!🎉❤

Definitely need to check out We Got The Moves if you haven't already.
You should go through all the different HYPA HYPA-versions that they made their german friend-bands make covers of.
Electric Callboy concerts are wild- you were raving along the beats and all of a sudden you are in a mosh pit .
Maybe you might like Nanowar of Steel as well, italian band. Song to start with, Valhalleluja, Norwegian reggaeton or Uranus.
We Got the Moves from Electric Callboy
For something maybe a little divisive... try "Hurrikan"^^ (not hurricane, that's a different song. confusing, I know :D)
It is in our watch later file and will be the next one we do! Thanks for that suggestion!
@@criticalhitsbadmisses Also watch "Mindreader". Different and pretty good. Also a good video.

LMAO not as raunchy as STEEL PANTHER but funny as hell...
Do pull up lyrics for their songs...English isn't their QST language, and the lyrics are hysterical!
you have to listen to spaceman and pump it or watch the videos ;)
