I love the way you go into detail when breaking down the songs and lyrics! Found it really interesting to watch as a music producer!

So Idk if you've looked into it yet. Looking For Somebody To Love is specifically about school shootings. And them being from a foreign land where it's such a uncommon thing. So it's a concept that's so baffling that 80s pop/dance beat is itself a commentary of how they don't full understand it and also how the media tends to mass glorify it making it popular like 80s dance/pop songs.
Definitely one of my favorites on the song.

I love that the album starts with the chaotic piano with The 1975 and ends with the chaotic piano at the close of When We Are Together. Definitely a cherry on top for an incredible album.
    Also, great video!

In the '70s a 45 second introduction to a song was very normal I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted for 3 minutes and it was only like a 5-minute song I can tell you a lot of songs that had intros that were long like outstanding by the Gap band which was so long if you go looking for the song they usually just cut straight past the entire intro but I'm only used to listening to it with the intro there in the first place so it always irks me when it's missing

That’s awesome! And yes I hate when people cut the song and don’t give us the full version! The intros can be so important to setting the mood and vibe for the song.

Hey Ariyanna, I was obviously commenting on the musicality and not the meaning of the lyrics during that section. So sorry if that came off the wrong way, that topic is one that is very serious and hits close to home for me. ❤️

the repetition of the first letter reminds me a little of some lines in A Praise Chorus by Jimmy Eat World.

@@DanoMakesMusic Prior to the early 1900s, authors often used it to denote an exclamation; in the words of the Oxford English Dictionary, to ejaculate can mean “to utter suddenly.”

@@mevostudios Really don't think this is the interpretation. The lyrics are clear and while poetic intent is for sure imbued in the word, it's clear he's referring to actual women writing about their sexual experiences. Or perhaps commiserating about them online. The dated definition of 'an utterance' simply doesn't make any sense.
