ive seen people learning from scratch also and within a month or so they get there groove and year later there tick dancing, fake out switching, stacking, and splashing 10 times in a row on 1 hp max people as they escape

just learning to pk (been maxed since 2021) decided to start venturing into the wildy i used to grudge dying to pkers so refused to go into the wildy out of spite lol now im loving it, got a baby pure (50 att, 70 str, 80 range, 85 mage, 44prayer) its good fun pking the rev bots

you can add a tome of fire to your lms setup to practice pking with a 4 way switch
yoo I know you're using ahrim staff and battle staff but try the flail for the spec bar if you're tryna go budget but 1-tick the ags from mage to ags :D

A few personal suggestions:
-instead of spirit shield and book of darkness, I highly recommend a *granite* shield + *unholy* book. The granite shield is much tankier, and the unholy book can be used for either range or mage.
-Ancient ice Sceptre from DT2 (with trouver) is one of the best bangs for your buck.
It has great passive effects.
-imo, mith seeds are always worth the inventory slot
-if all else fails, start using the ancient godsword. It can be great for gaining momentum, as well as outlasting your opponent.
Nobody really likes fighting it, so maybe don't use it all the time if you start becoming a regular in 303

I love pvp and got basically every pvp build possible im always looking for folks to pk with and i dont mind teaching, i think pvp is the funnest part of the game but it has such a learning curve its hard to learn so its dying slowly. For any noobs to pvp i recommend last man standing to get used to gear/prayer switches
i feel like pvp is dying because theres less and less noobs every year. but yeah i had my most fun playing this game pking with rl friends. we weren't even that good. but years ago the green dragon spawn in multi by venenatis was a hot spot for all types of pkers and was loads of fun

Try a bit of PvPA too against random people. LMS is great, but PvPA teaches you how to Nh with brews instead of mostly sharks

I fight people wearing infernal capes all the time and have an infernal cape on 2 of my accounts. Killing Zuk is way easier than being a top tier pker. There's tons of people who can kill Zuk but can't brid to save their lives.

@@nowtime722you have to be fast. Pretty much requires constant 1 ticking to kill them. They're good for warming up to fight PKers.
Be cool if you did itfrom a fresh account, could build a pker and try different cmb brackets like a baby pure etc but i get thats a big time investment

The rng in this game is so fucked i chanced so many noobs the last months but i always die first chance so weird things like pidswap or im out and missclick my tele idk why all the noobs are so lucky im already thinking they protect bad players
Naw bro, you're just a noob. You have to keep playing and getting better. Trust me, I've been pking for a long time. Shit RNG hits all of us, but most of the time, you aren't chancing people when you think you are. Nowadays, everyone brings combo eats into deep wild. Any time you have an opportunity to spec, most people have already eaten back up to 115. Just keep trying and don't give up, you will start getting consistent kills even in a budget setup. The most I ever risk is 10m-12m and I pk people in ahrims/crystal all the time. When I was learning I also thought that everyone else was lucky but me. As you gain more experience fighting actual PKers you will start to realize that good/bad luck tends to even out over time. Once you get your first big pk, you'll never want to stop.
