Since every main character in XC game was different in looks, we either get a ginger dude with green eyes, a woman (who can also have red hair and green eyes), or a Nopon for XC4.

As annoying as he is, Tatsu was also a kid and not a child prodigy like Tora. Asking an average 13YO to stand up to these gigachads is kind of a tall order.
Btw, I would also have said Manana made food, but her recipes didn't work at launch, and I use Miyabi's recipe.

Honestly, I think this situation might have some strong thematic elements as well. A good bit of Xenoblade 3 seems to be demonstrating that the worlds have no need for gods, and so having the ultra weapon be made by mortal inhabitants rather than drawn from the conduit could be another demonstration of that theme.

@@yann_maare they though? Nopon only live slightly longer than humans. Riku isn’t exactly stated to be alive during the founders era, so he could be telling the truth when he talks about his masterpon and such

I'd say Lucky Seven is not only a finale to a running gag but also retains a lot more relevance to the themes of the game as a whole.
In 1 and 2 the plot was effectively spurred on by gods/god-like beings. The story of 3 was spurred off by mankind. It makes some sense that the powerful weapon this time around was made BY mankind (well noponkind).
It also emphasizes how humanity doesn't need to rely on gods or superpowers to change the world. Just the sheer force of will and the collective ability to change.
How interesting that after Future Redeemed this video is irrelevant:)

Riku’s masterpon is Melia. She made the Lucky Seven from the origin metal and called it like that because it contains the memories of Xenoblade 1 characters.
You got to love those Nopon. Anyone who doesn’t is worse than Moebius.

What with its other names, Origin Blade and Sword of the End, it most certainly IS a Monado in its own right. As the man himself said-
“I am Monado, I was here at the beginning, and I will proclaim the end.”
Extra EXTRA interesting because Lucky Seven was there at the end (the destruction of the two worlds) and heralded the beginning (the rebirth after the end)
Not sure how Nopon created the closest thing to the true Monado the series has ever had. However it is a monado not only was it at the beginning and end of the world ,but it also bends the world to its wielder’s whim albeit on a far smaller scale.
I believe the origin sword is specifically N's final battle sword and the sword used in Noahs T3 interlink.
@@triforceofcourage100 To take a stab (lol) at how the Sword may have been made, the origin metal might have been constructed from the materials that made up the interior of the World Tree. That stuff survived millennia after the destruction of earth, if we already know anything that could have made up Origin, it might be that stuff.
That leaves the question of where the Bionis half could have gotten the metal. Maybe Nia could have passed on how to construct it. Or maybe the Mechonis is built from the same of sufficiently similar stuff.
Theorizing that based on on the "poetry" of it. Maybe Galea herself knew the material that was used to construct the Low Orbit Station and chose to construct the Mechonis from it. Then we have both worlds scavenging the seas, looking for the remnants of the domain of a dead, but belevolent, god, using what they found there to try preserving their world.
I have probably wandered from the original point. HOW the Nopon built their own Monado remains questionable, but that's WHAT I think they made it from.
@@MJTRadio the mechonis was almost definitely cannibalized for their half of Origin. Meanwhile I’ll eat my hat if the Alrest half was made from scavenging the artifices like siren. Both of these metals have something in common, influence of the conduit. Meyneth certainly had far less power but due to her divine power she must of had some.
It's my silly headcanon that Noah throwing Lucky Seven into the ocean triggered the worlds splitting, metaphorically slicing the combined world in two as it fell
The running gag is actually pretty funny, especially the one in 2 and 3 where the swords are essentially the strongest weapons in the games.
Also, while this is unrelated, considering the fact that wave 4 got datamined, I kinda want to see Luxin make a video on the content that was datamined on it.

Calling it now the next Xenoblade game will have a major Nopon character who makes the legendary weapon and is busted, but no one takes them seriously. Meanwhile a Human character will have a knock off weapon based upon the legendary Nopon one, but it’s a joke. Yet everyone else will treat that person more seriously anyway instead.
Kinda reminds me of One Punch-Man.
I feel like we don't acknowledge enough that the most important characters in Xenoblade lore are all canonically nopon

Then there's the fact that Noah's sword isn't the only one of it's kind.
It's either a replication or the latest, intended finished product.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but Poppi, QTpie's base element is Ice, not Light. Considering that QTpie can be any element, it's a little bit of a mute point if the shared element isn't the default.
QTπ is by default Ice, but only QTπ is the only Poppi that can use the Light Element Core.

I fricking love Nopon, legit making a sword as good as Sword goddess.
To me, Xeno1 nopon were like hobbits/halfling (To go along stereotypical rpg trope), mostly about just... Living the life. Being pure of heart and of simple things. But as xeno2 came out. I kinda feel like nopon were more trusted into the Gnome stereotypical rpg trope. Tech savy, funny but antisocial and all about making the MONEY. After, in xeno3, it feels like they changed the trope AGAIN to go along dwarfs. Forging weapons by the "Ancient way", more about tradition then tech. Being a small yet sturdy kind of people. Always loyal and with alot of wisdom. They are still gnome'ish, but less so. At this point they have completly lost the hobbits/halfing lifestyle though.
I think since XCX the nopon have been positioned more like the elves or Maiar. In XCX they and L are the only creatures that claim to be native to Mira, which is some kind of yet to be explained interdimensional hub. In 2 it is implied that Nopon are not native to Alrest as they are not part of Klaus' tree of life and then you got the nopon archsage who is thousands of years old and can traverse dimensions. The nopon in 2 used to be highly intelligent and well-spoken nomadic pirates who started talking like idiots to grift the other races . Then in 3 nopon are excluded from Origin, implying they are not part of either world. The nopon are certainly the most xeno race in Xenoblade. They're multidimensional beings with powers but choose to just chill out in lower domains and eat tasty snacks. They try not to interfere too much with the other races.

I dunno that I believe it's deliberate to that extent, but it sure is funny how that worked out!
The fact that they macguffin the most powerful sword in the game the way they did annoyed me to no end. Noah's sword starts as just that, becomes a sheath or if nowhere when he gets the lucky 7, then when he draws the blade it becomes a gauntlet for *reasons* and nothing is ever spoken about it besides a couple of people saying his blade is unique looking. It's so poorly done it had to be a last minute decision.
Lucky Seven was actually not made by Nopon but by Melia, she specifically set out to replicate the Monado using Origin metal the same way Nia replicated Blades with the Ouroboros Stone, it is called Lucky Seven because of the seven protagonists of the original Xenoblade (Shulk, Melia, Reyn, Sharla, Dunban, Riki and Fiora) and the most likely reason Riku has it is because he is likely a descendant of Riki, Nene or Kino, who were Melia's closest friends.
We're literally told it was made by 7 Nopon.
Unless the writers wanted that to be a red herring, it makes no sense to say Melia is the one who made it.
I think Melia oversaw the creation of Lucky 7 but the Nopon were the ones to actually forge it
@@AzureRoxe And then Nia contradicts this by explaining that the sword is the product of resonance between Melia's heart and Origin, the thing about the nopon is just a cover story or something Riku's family made up at some point.

that was interesting, though i'm not sure if i encountered the XC1 entry....it's still a great thing to both see & know.
now how many mentions/iterations of the "bloody lobsters" are there? i know of only 2 in XCX & XC2torna.
admittedly, i also believe its entirely possible to lose access to that fight if you don't do enough of the questline before the late game plot stuff happens, so maybe that's what's happened to you (also its a real long questline on top of that)

I believe the Monapon originated from the initial design of Riki where he was meant to be a thief-type character with the lowest HP in the game and he was going to steal the monado from Shulk in your first encounter with him

If there is every going to be a XC4. Then the next step would be the make the Monado a side plot and not centered around, that gives them the chance to make a Nopon party member the primary wielder of a Monado.

There's actually another long-running series gag that 3 brings up. Major spoilers if you're reading this and somehow haven't played through XC1, XC2, and XC3. I have never played X but I know somehow they had it in there as well, just not how they did.
The main character being a zombie. In 1, Shulk is long, long dead. He is only brought back as a puppet for Zanza. Noticably, we only find this out very, very late game. As in, the game enters it's climax with this reveal. In 2, Rex dies as almost the first thing, and is brought back by Pyra. In 2, it is shown without exiting the first chapter. And in 3? Everyone. Everyone is a zombie in 3. They all have died hundreds of times most likely. This, however, is only shown to us mid-way through, though implied earlier. Me saying the timeline of these is mostly to show the differences in execution of these, and honestly, how only one of these is a twist.

Well Um.. If you didn't know Origin the Main Plot Point of XC3 IS A KNOCKOFF of Zohar / Conduit from XC1 and XC2.. And From Cutscenes It's revealed They are indeed made by Nopons.. So Yeah The Event in XC3 happen just because they used KNOCKOFF technology that made by Nopons..
next time in xenoblade 4 and 5 the main male protagonist's sword will be a knockoff OF THE NOPON CREATION
Claiming that Lucky Seven is just a running gag is a pretty big stretch, not gonna lie. I highly doubt that it exists in the way it is because the writers thought it was funny. Everything about it is treated completely seriously.
Honestly even comparing Poppi's final form to a joke from the first gamealready feels off considering it's not even a joke anymore.

Sword of the End is Lucky Seven's normal form, Sword of Origin is its Interlink form

@@Michail_Chatziasemidis Yeah N's swords are a bit weird, both are Swords of the End despite his second one looking like the Sword of Origin, however because N cannot Interlink we can just say it's Z's feeble imitation of one. The cutscene you're talking about replaced the first sword with the second, because the first was destroyed in Agnus Castle; it was just a continuity mistake on Monolith's part.
The influences for qtp's design are numerous, but I wouldn't count Mythra among them. This is a massive stretch at best.
So after the dlc we can confirm that Noah's sword is a copy of N's sword, both containing an aegis

There's a not zero chance Xenoblade 4 could have a Nopon Main Character.
I also take Lucky Seven to symbolize the game itself. XC3 is the seventh Xeno game in the Gears, Saga and Blade universe after all.

I'm pretty sure that Poppi designed her qtpi form herself, so that means a nopon machine made the knockoff xenoblade...and did it better than god

The joke has spiraled out of control since Future Redeemed inevitably expanded the joke by not making it just a knockoff monado for the protagonist, but also doubling down by making a knockoff monado for his counterpart too, and having BOTH knockoff monados ALSO be de facto Aegis swords. This is all while the world *literally* is the Monado for over 100 years, only for the world to swap the Monado for yet *another* Monado as well being based on someone wielding YET ANOTHER KNOCKOFF MONADO and someone wielding YET ANOTHER KNOCKOFF AEGIS SWORD *ALL SIMULTANEOUSLY.*
I see no way to top what Future Redeemed did to the joke of knockoff Monados, because they have done *Literally* every permutation imaginable in a single game.

To be fair, it’s not Lucky Seven itself being enhanced, but the rest of the Blade around it. The gauntlet form of Noah’s weapon when using Unlimited Sword changes, but not Lucky Seven itself.

🤔 Since when is Pyra / Mythra / Pneuma a Monado ?
You already have Malos as a Monado in XC2 which is clearly a Monado and even has Monado Arts ... in neither shape nor arts do the girls represent the Monado. Also when you apply the Logic from Monad in the Gnostic , Pyra / Mythra / Pneuma might take it from within themselves , but so would every other Blade too , so this cant be used as a deciding factor.
That said , the girls also do not have the ability to reshape creation on their own in the way Alvis can. That priviledge pretty much belongs soley to Klaus in XC2.
Means ... if the girls would actually count as a Monado , they suck at being a Monado on every level.
Sorry but even Lucky 7 , Sword of Origin , Sword of the End is more Monado than the girls from XC2
Malos and pneuma are two thirds of the same program. Their powers and weapons mirror each other. It's commonly accepted that pneuma has a Monado/Monado equivalent
Also, it's hard to see with all the flashy green lights but the third aegis sword does have a ring design element just like every other Monado; Pneuma just doesn't utilize her powers by explicitly referring to them as Monado arts
The game literally says they can make imagination into reality.
That literally is reshaping reality.
Alvis was confirmed to be Ontos. However, he escaped getting nerfed by Klaus, so he kept the Conduit power they all started with. Malos and Pneuma were awakened as blades after the nerf, so they don't have the same power level, but the same general powers, just on a much smaller scale.
My brother in christ Pneumas sword has a big hole in it that shows kanji when doing arts and specials.
Pneuma is literally a Monado, Malos is a Monado, Lucky Seven is just a cool knockoff Monado.
