  • In episode one you'll see the beginning of a song being created. Filmed over the course of 10 days, this is me facing myself and the resistance that comes with creating something unique and authentic.
I underestimated the uncertainty I would experience in this project, especially in episode one. I didn't even know if I would be able to create a song, film it, edit it, write soundtracks for it, or release it. Definitely not in two months time haha.
I welcome you to Waking Call, inspiration and music for living authentically.

And I’ll keep myself around ☺️🙏
Project authenticity, Episode 1 was such an experience personally talking, I would recommend watching until the end.
This made me cry, laugh and contemplate around my own journey.
I had that unique sensation of having a conversation with a loving friend about challenge and vulnerability, about being human and overcoming fear while making progress on a foggy track !
This Episode is very challenging and beautiful, thanks for this wonderful experience!

Paul, I love this! The Ccnematography is great, colors, etc very cohesive throughout. Love the music, the fading in and out, and the different techniques you used to move the story along. Well done for sticking with it! That’s inspiring, since we all have days when we want to throw in the towel. Excited to see episode 2!

This was a very interesting video. It's interesting because, hey, creativity is not all roses and happiness. It can come in waves. And it's important, like you said and did, to keep showing up.
I've been very bad with my own creative process thr past few... I want to say "days," but the reality is "months."
I did some little things here and there (about my characters and their background stories) which were crucial for thr story, but I haven't touched my story at all. I tried to do it yesterday, but I hardly sat ten minutes and then found something else to waste my time with - just to keep me busy instead of working at it.
Your video actually inspired me to document my own creative process. I wonder if being accountable to others could make me more disciplined. I know that I should first be accountable to myself, but maybe my own accountability could inspire others as well. I believe, this would give me strength to keep at it.
Thank you for this video and sorry for all this ramble. 🥴
I'm looking forward to episode 2, no matter how long it takes!
