When I get my AAR curriulum in the mail, I go ahead and prep the entire book. I put each lesson's sheets in a page protector and label lesson number and what is needed ie which reader, if it needs the iPad for the tiles, etc. (I highly recommend the letter tile app where you can move the tiles!!) I separate all the cards and add them to that lesson's page protector. I laminate the letter sound cards since we use those continuously and we just do all the leap words and 10 words cards each day and cycle through. I keep the bulk of the page protectors in a 3" binder and then keep 20 or so in a small binder that we use daily. It makes the curriculum grab and go! It works great and my boys love the lessons. ❤

Even though we're big time Logic of English peeps..I love this so much!! I just love when any homeschool folks share here on TH-cam.. how different curricula can be intertwined together..
Thank you so much for taking the time to share..

Oh my goodness!! I couldn’t believe it when I saw this video go up!! I can’t thank you enough for making this video. I really like the idea of using the Ziggy games and integrating those into the mfw reading plan and reading practice as is... I’m also looking for as low prep as possible because with little ones and military moves, it’s just hard otherwise! I was also overwhelmed with the idea of 4 levels of AAR with more than one child as well, so this was a relief as well:) thank you again so much for making this video. It was such a comfort!

You are so welcome! And thank you for the idea! I love questions that help stem new video content. 😊

Thanks for this! My daughter is 5 and almost done with AAR level 1. I was going to start MFW 1st grade to get us started this upcoming fall. Since I will have a 6, 4.5, 3 and a baby I need something planned out. I am assuming the reading portion will be mostly review. I don’t think any of us are ready for the 2nd grade mfw yet. /:

Yes, MFW 1st should be mostly review since you have almost completed AAR. That will be nice with so many littles. God Bless!
