@@PerfectDeath4 I mean, normal gamer stuff, lol. Smart or healthy? Probably not. But they'll be fine lol. I don't think anyone is seriously worried about long gaming streams.
Kaela literally had to argue and convince management that she will have better mental health if she streams more; And it was in July when ID were all super busy in Japan that the upper management realised that Kaela actually has to stream more and not take breaks between her choreos and rehearsals to relax and not get stressed. Now she is even recognised by management and made the new HoloIndie ambassador because she is literally the biggest gamer and streamer who plays the most indie games.
@@Bloodstar-o7there is a reason for it though. There is other stuff they need to be doing, and if streaming is affecting their ability to do those other stuff, that is a problem for management. Marine mentioned that in a stream regarding this issue. If you’re scheduled to do a live, record for a commercial, etc you need to be in top form as a lot was resting on it, it is not just about you but the schedules of other people and the things that were done to make those things happen.
People forgot that Haachama had been rest almost 1 year then comeback streaming this year, and Shion rest over half year return streaming as well If for standard company, these 2 already fired for not doing jobs for a long time and wasting resources for resting too long
Her good still sold well during her break, her voice packs were supported by her gachikoi fans. It's not like she was on break and contributed 0 income to the company.

Lui and Luna can tell you all about those. Unless it somehow cracks open like a rotten apple and exposes some extreme employee abuse that _doesn't_ reach the talents so even they'd be surprised, Cover is really really far from black.
Especially in Japan, where it's kind of normal for you to work so much that you hardly get any time off, not that it doesn't happen in the rest of the world, but there I think most people know what it's like
People overlooked the successes that many members had this year that came from their growth and more opportunities given by the growing company. - Solo concerts from Suisei, Marine, Azki, Miko, etc. - A lot of events such as Hologta, Enrecollection, Breaking Dimensions concert, etc. - The addition of amazing talents like Justice and Flowglow. And tbh, talents leaving the company after being there for a few years is normal. That's just how it is being in a company after all, when you feel unsatisfied with the regulations then you leave. That's just how it is. It doesn't actually imply that the company is bad or the people in there is bad as well, right? Not saying you have to defend the company, but for now fans should just reserve their judgement, keep an eye on the company and calling them out appropriately.
when you have a family, someone may can go singing, someone study so hard to get A grade, someone doing the cute roleplay in the house, you have fun with happiness, it's the good news/topic in your family. . but when someone you love in family passed away or the worse -rapidly gone, the main topic and atmosphere in your house is not something you gonna smile or thinking for the good news recently for some time. . Many fans see them, care them or also take them personal like their family as stress-relieved or even depression cure. Their feelings with schedule changed and never be the same, causing some aggressive emotional activities to avoid -or clarify- the situation they confront. Nah, 4 graduations back to back within just a couple of months isn't a coincidence. Just because some good things happened this year doesn't mean the bad didn't. Niji rats made false statements in times of controversy and there's nothing stopping these girls. I think I will continue to judge, thanks.
"Not letting the idol rest" is always a fake news, why you ask? cause Gura is still in Hololive, Shion is still in Hololive, Ayame is still in Hololive, and I'm sure there are others you can add to the list Do you realize how rare for them to stream? Sure once they start to stream they will stream for a month or two straight, but then they go back on hiatus / "rest"
I'll be glad when this is all over.. As a talent fan only, I couldn't care less about the company, but for a fandom to start questioning or attack the company when it did nothing wrong... Is absolutely asinine... It's been proven the they're not pressured. Bae, Kaela, Biboo, Moona, has confirmed that. Miko and Fubuki has confirmed that no mistreatment is going on. Then you have Suisei herself, confirming that as well. Yet certain fandom, just can't get a grip. Their parasocial is leaking into comment sections... Even here.
@@Nomimonyo Better yet, just look at all the ex-talents. NDA mean jack shit since we got Gundo Mirei a JAPANESE (and we know JP is stricter about defamation law then EN) to implicate Niji as prison.
@@Nomimonyo My problem is people taking past just hating on cover/holo but actually attacking and insulting the talents themselves. Noel was reduced to tears by people insulting her in chat for daring to say she is fine and holo is not a black company.
Its interesting that both the JP/EN side has this same speculative argument of "Oh Hololive is pushing their talents towards idol stuff rather than streaming." Which always comes across as newer fans making this argument, because Hololive has been clear for what 4-5 years now that they are an idol company and want to pursue that path. But they also never gave up on streaming, the girls still do stream but its obviously up to them how they want to balance their streaming/performance.
"Hololive has been clear for what 4-5 years now that they are an idol company and want to pursue that path" I'm just a casual Holofan and this is absolutely not remotely true. The pursuit of Idol dream was always there, but turning the company into THE Idol franchise instead of THE VTuber/Streamer franchise is something new. And something MANY talents acknowledge. Is it a bad thing? Not necessary. Is it a rapid and painful change? yes.
I swear this "idol bullshit" only pushed by like you a random comments. Yagoo never said that, he said hololive is an "entertaintment company" that focus on IP as main product. Hololive members already doing voice acting, event host, event organizer, commercial ads, tourism ambassador. More than just singing and dancing. Hololive members are talents and brand owner, they are allowed to decide how theirs brand grow.
Maybe just in JP and EN?. In ID though Moona described it in detail. There is no such of staff pushed them to work. They offered them things what they wanted to do, they free to take the job or not ( this been told quite often by ID girls ). While according to moona, they often bite more than they can chew... and the staff is their breaker. I think the main problem is not idol stuff.
talent : Give their everything to make fans happy cause they love it and cause they want their fans to be happy Some fans after a few graduation : Huh they force to do huh, i have no respect for their work, huh. Morons.
The fact is that no matter what talent says, there is always some kind of "fan" ignoring and still believing in what random people say. I don't know if they're truly a fan or just an anti that's false flagging as a "fan". I encountered one "sapling fan" spreading speculation like "forcing talent and no rest" on Marine's Sololive clip. I was like, wtf are you talking about? It's Marine's dream to get those Solo concerts.
I don't think there's an elaborate troll going on. People are just bad with this kind of thing. The ones with the least accurate perception are also the most distressed and vocal.
@@fluffyelite35 it's both. That's how ideas spread. Some people are honestly trying to analyze the situation and understand what's going on, because employees that are happy and content don't quit. On the otherhand, there is always an army of trolls out there lookibg to stir the pot for various reasons. There's going to be a lot of mixing of these different ideas. If you're wondering where the no rest thing is coming from, try watching some channels that cover vtuber news and gossip. That should answer your question. This video is misleading in that the title and thumbnail and the content don't really match. They're partially related, but also two completely different conversations. @@_____8632 I mean, people are going to speculate regardless. Employees that are content don't quit usually. Three years may seem long, but I spent a decade at one of my last good jobs. Five on a previous job.
Glad she brought it up. I found the whole speculation thing to be reductive of the real circumstances of graduations. Graduations are inevitable even if management caters well. Talents eventually may be burnt-out, have health issues and other personal stuff. Or simply the company has a specific framework in which they let operate and some talents may wanna do things outside of that. Most importantly we don’t hear news about egregious mistreatment of talents. Talents have been doing graduations on somewhat good terms with the company. I think it’s just unfortunate timing of many graduating particularly this year.
And can we say that 4 graduations is a lot ? It's a lot just in term of Hololive because it's a very rare occurrence. But in absolute number, 4 isn't that much.
A lot of talents from JP, EN, ID already speak up about the whole "holo management is the villain" speculation and all of them disagrees with that speculation. So those people that made up those speculation should just stop trying so hard painting holo image like it's some kind of a black company like the "other vtuber company". People trying so hard at turning things into a drama these days, geez
Reminder: if we Kaigainiki can googleTL JP Holomems' tweet, they _too_ can googleTL the tweets and yt comments that Kaigainiki make. And afaik EN to JP is more accurate than JP to EN.
To reinforce this, y'all remember: when GoogleTL fails, deepL comes into play. Not only is it even more accurate, it exists as a browser extension for most social media platforms. Ignorance borne of language barrier is not a valid factor at all. Even Ollie has mentioned in the recent past: your oshis don't live in a bubble. They too have a finger on the pulse of current discussions and arguments.
@@GoodOleDFT GoogleTL is honestly way more accurate than DeepL at this point. It used to be the other way around, but DeepL's "deep learning" seems to have made it dumber over time, as I swear half the time it omits whole sentences, wildly misinterprets the subject of a sentence, or gets stuck in a weird sort of loop. DeepL also doesn't take context from previous sentences into account, instead auto-translating every sentence individually as if each is in a vacuum. ...I know this isn't relevant to the point being made here, but since GoogleTL and DeepL got brought up, I figured I'd say my piece on the matter, since I'm a translator by trade and use both for sanity checks from time to time, and I've had a bone to pick with DeepL for some time now!
@@Wyrdwad For sure. I'd be remiss to say trust one over the other, as both have their strengths and pitfalls. DeepL in particular, it seems, depends a lot on appropriate formatting - those missing phrases you mentioned? Add a punctuation sign or a paragraph break and they show up. I also like that you can change translations of individual words so the overall text makes more sense, and even keep a glossary for very common instances of unusual words or slang terms. All in all, definitely ping-pong between both!
Thank you for translating her message and deliver it to people who don't speak Japanese. Although, regretfully, Even after watch this Suisei's clear message, a certain people looks like into just repeating their speculation. I hope they listen to their Oshi's voice not their own justice.
Pretty sure it’s less cover Corp issues and more TH-cam copyright and content issues and cover trying to be even more restrictive with content, especially seen how fauna had very little same content recently before graduation
Im sure the schedules and stuff are crazy sometimes since they need to work with outside people or get things done in time for events, but yeah people have been going way to hard.
As many Holomen already pointed out, they pick their own work, so it might not necessary be overworked, though each circumstances apply differently to each individual talent. It can also be the talent wanted to do something but isn't allowed to, due to contractual details, the need to obtain the rights to actually do it, monetary related etc, so sometimes it can be easier to do things on your own, without all the obligations
@@ZalYagunRyaiand that asmr content is not doing well recently in terms of updated TH-cam rules and regulations which is her main content and we all know abt cover being very restrictive when it comes to TH-cam rules and copyright stuff
It's a JOB, not a hobby, the talents could quit if they wanted to. Istg have any of those "fans" been doing any type of job? Because you can still like a job and quit, you can be unsatisfied with your job and quit, all with various reason. Other people aren't so lucky, they can't quit their job due to shady contract, peer pressure, or even being threatened not to quit. Be glad that the talents quit on a good term, be glad that the talents are not being forced to work until their breaking point.
this job being mostly a creative focused thing I have seen a number of people leave well paying creative jobs once the spark leaves, like yeah money's good but when not living pay check to pay check you don't NEED to stay. Doubly so now that they know they have a core audience that will follow them.
I think Suisei was the most direct about the situation so far, another who summed it up well was Fubuki who said that she thinks it's a miracle that so many members have left only recently and that in fact it could have happened in previous years as several members have already said that they almost left like Korone two years ago and Raden last year but even that shouldn't silence the antis who just want to see everything go up in flames, they'll probably say things like “Those who are saying there's no problem are very popular and it must be different with those who aren't popular”, usually you knock down one rumor and they create two
The idea that it is about popularity is hilarious considering both Aqua and Chloe were very big and popular. Whereas the underrated talents like Aki and practically all of ID other than Kobo show no sign of leaving.
@@gokbay3057 definitely not popularity. Fauna was also popular on the en side. I think cali said it best tbh. The company just can't make everyone happy as it has over 90 talents
Idk if those are just haters or people who have bad associations after whole nijisanji bs. If talents don't feel like it, they would leave without unnecessary drama and keep doing their own stuff. And again, most of them are staying in agency longer than I thought. It's still a full time job that you have to do, and there's a lot more preparation going on behind the scenes, you have to put a lot of energy into it.
Definitely. Some people even think Hololive is Nijisanji. So ignorant people making a fuss about things they don't know anything about is really unnecessary
It's fearmonger, or gaslighting. It all stemmed from Fauna's unclear announcement about it. Chloe's was clear cut, she said she overworked. While Fauna's was " disagreement with managers." They took it as a sign of animosity against managers and how hololive is pathing differently now. Then ran and took it, spreading. Clippers posted, and did nothing to quell the turbulence and here we are. Then Moona, Bae, Kaela, Biboo, and others spoke about it. Then, Miko cleared it up even more. Yet we still have people who think otherwise.
the shit stirring is coming from a mix of Niji, Vshojo, Phase and general anti holo's and upset fans letting these bad actors rile them up. The fans going along with it has been disappointing to see going so far as to insult other members for not saying holo is bad.
@@darkvulpes4826 some of it is antis, some of it is just people trying to make sense of things and analyzing what they're seeing, and making hypothesis based on that. Cover has been much better than most other companies. That doesn't mean they are immune to criticism when they make mistakes though. Criticism is fine, hypothesis are fine. Taking hypothesis as the literal truth is not. And you always have to expect some antis. If you think they're just causing trouble ignore them. Certainly that's how I feel about the people who say "so-and-so is going to quit next."
For some reason this is the one of a few talents I cant believe in this case, the others being Calli and Watame. Those three are workaholics when it comes to music.
It's good to hear that! I really want to believe that management isn’t as restrictive as some might think. The managers we've seen on streams have always been lovely, and I deeply respect their hard work. That said, it's hard not to question when both Aqua-tan and Fauna cited 'disagreements with management' as reasons for stepping back. If idol activities aren’t mandatory, what might those disagreements have been about?
When people keep saying the same speculation, somehow it became the TRUE opinion. I would say this speculation come from antis --> and became the TRUE opinion for Hololive fans who love the talent so much. If you sick you can rest, if you burnout = affiliated (appeared on future project), I wont say it but the answer is graduation.
Finally, holo talent speak what im thinking after seeing lot people saying hololive have bad management since some talent choose to leave Hope with this they stop saying bad things, and show more support to talent that doing their best for fans to enjoy I know my english suck
Nanny fans created a narrative where their oshis are relentlessly pushed around by faceless management Any new information is just integrated into the theory instead of taken for its own value, like "oh, the management is MAKING Suisei say the talents aren't forced to do things" etc.
For me it looks like the classic "annoying bureaucracy". Hololive is a big company and bureaucracy will be a problem. Imagine if you just want to accomplish your job then the management have to clarify so many thing which can take many days or even weeks. All that waiting just to get the answer "Sorry, you can't". No matter how diligent you are, it will take a toll on your mental health. Especially in a Vtuber world where CREATING is your job and you got denied for creating stuffs. I believe that no one in Hololive (talents, staff, managers, etc.) are lazy. All of them want to do their job amazingly. It's just the nature of a massive corporation. Hence, some of them choose to go indies. Sure, you won't have the budget to create big project. However, you can start creating much faster. Not everyone want to live a corporate life (which is not always bad). Some just want more freedom which a corporation can only give so much.
Cover has exited being a start up of under 70 people to being a full-blown corp of 600+ the Bureaucracy comes with the structure, and not surprised some members decide to leave at that point. Ame is someone that thrives in the stressful start up environment, once things got more structured it was just a mater of time before she would leave. to add to your point on perms the talents also have to do reports on their activities and other general paper work. There is loads of boring IP/brand paperwork and meetings BTS, that can add to frustration on top of the perms issue's.
This ! But people going with that kind of assumption are the few that have actually had a job in a company, and know how sometimes exhausting it is to push an idea, even an amazing one. It's annoying how people absolutly want to spread negativity.
Many don't seem to consider the most obvious reason of all. The bigger a Company gets, the bigger the number of workers that leave every year. it is the same like mmm everywhere in the world? 😂
I think people just don't understand that "talents" (people working creative jobs), more often then not, are gonna overwork themselves, because there isn't really a limit to what they can achieve and the only limit is their body shutting down. When you can live off your passion, it's actually harder to restrain yourself from doing too much. But people online like to speculate and think that they know, and then it validates other people that have the same opinion, and you know, echo chambers and whatnot.
Suisei raised the exact point I've seen around. And well, I knew 3d lives weren't mandatory so I knew those opinions were bs If they are so concerned about the management then should've kept up to date with management notices at least
she's the 5th member at this point to say their schedule is defined by them they just tend to take on more than they should at times. Once they take on the "homework" they have to see it through and if streams would get in the way of making a dead line than the stream gets the axe and by that it just gets schedule slid.
I think it's more the opposite, the talent wants to do something and management is telling them no, I think that was the reason Aqua gave for graduating and in the past Pekora mentioned that she wanted to do some project and even that she would pay for it and they told her no.
I think there’s just been a lot of knee jerk reactions due to the many many bad vtuber manager and company related things that has happened this year. The vtuber community is larger than its ever been and there’s a lot of new people who haven’t followed some of the talents as long. There is some sort of change happening behind the scenes as the talents leaving have directly said, but what change, we don’t know. The most likely one is needing to be stricter on some things as they get larger and larger. It’s a sad fact that people have become even skeptical of what the streamers say because of another certain company’s actions.
there might be some talents who actually want to chill but the fanbase would compared how frequent the talents doing activity compared to others. i remember gura fanbase did that saying gura lazy because she stream less often compare to other talents. thats how toxic gachikoi is but at the same time they are the ones who the most supportive to the talents buying goods and tossing superchat. on the other hand, choco-sen being a chill streaming once a week without drama.
Gura's fanbase respects her a lot and they will wait until she comes back. Don't assume that the 100 most mentally ill comments you see are reflecting the fanbase. That's a weird way of thinking.
There’s other reasons too, I understand that some like Chloe wanted more rest but there are pressure -not management pressure- to be up to standard. This is why in my company you HAVE to take breaks, holidays etc. We even have no overtime pays unless asked by management but people take overtime anyway and some asked to come in during holiday with half payment. We always refused and banned them from “visiting colleague” etc.
Becoming busier isn’t necessarily a bad thing, in this case I feel it’s a natural consequence of being successful commercially that has caused hololive to have more opportunities and collabs coming their way, and as result there are more things that the members need to fit into their schedule, you could call this suffering from success
The point is, they are not forced to sing, dance or other idol activities that keep talent busy, but they themselves are happy to do it without pressure. From what I understand, talent is given jobs based on whatever projects the talent has planned, If you hear talent complaining that they're busy, it's because they hope you'll understand their condition if they don't stream.
The one that chatted probably not experience the true workplace. Nov-Dec is where companies gonna be a lot busier. It may finishing reports, deadlines, delivery, so fort and so on. It will only calm down after Christmas or New Year I experienced it first hand. The first time I hated to have Christmas break because it will hinder my work and I have to come back at January 5 to start a year with piled up papers in my desk 😢
Thing is, not one graduated/terminated member spoke about anything that is "really bad", not even the boys. Not Coco, not Mel, not Aqua, not Ame, not even Rushia. Magni and Vesper's reasons where typical of someone with an Indie mindset. I guess we'll see when Fauna graduates, but unless she discloses something "really bad", people are making mountains out of a molehill. Not saying there isn't a problem with management, there definitely are. Altare disclosed one, and Cover needs to rectify that. But my point still stands.
You said it, hit the nail. I can't wait until this is all over. If Bae, Kaela, Moona and Biboo... BIBOO of all people. She's new, she has said there's workload, yet she invites the challenge... Has said there is work to be done behind the scenes, yet they still stream and do idol stuff.. then you know these gaslighters are in on their own heads.
@@CryosxifyThey can't mention anything explicit, but there are ways to talk about it indirectly if they want to. Vesper/Randon regularly talks about the realities of the Vtuber ecosystem and on several occasions all but said his reasons for leaving. @@Nomimonyo true, first time I heard complaints of workload its from Moona, it years ago. Turns out all ID's has same page about workload but thats it, they made it as jokes now as casual stuff to do. I think it only blew up now just an excuse for bad fans to blame cover.
If you watch the part of the stream after this clip ends she actually talks about how she is always arguing with management the most, in spite of people saying she has it easiest. She has to argue a lot to get to do the things she wants to do. But not every talent is as assertive as Suisei, so they might give up easier. Hence I think the problem is opposite of what people are speculating. I think the talents want to do things but are told no. Especially the EN girls. They've said before that living in Japan gives more opportunities, which is why a lot of them have moved there, because they want to do more.
Here's the reality. some trolls and some tribals mindsets peoples that comes from another VTuber Corpos fandoms along side the usual bottom dweller "Indies" using their limited Japanese to bait the proffesional shitpost crowds in Japan that already dislikes VTuber and TH-camr in general. That simple but again most peoples in the fandoms is the "2022 Hololive fans" so no matter what every Talent said is pointless. The best way is to not respond and not react to anyone that "Inquire" and "demand" explanations and keep going through things as usuals. those type of peoples is the ones that watched translated clips and never spent pennies on Hololive Products and think that their "Likes" to these current age of "Internet" matter.
Well said. I remember when Holo was under attack from many different directions during Kaichou's time and even after she graduated. People underestimate what hatred and vitriol can inspire weaponization of legit concerns and worries of actual fans, especially in spaces that can be invaded and brigaded. A lot of CN bros who we thought were friends turned out to be snakes that were working with Nijisisters and Antis to disrupt Holo. It's just sad that you can't trust who's legitimately concerned and who's an Anti. Times like these, its better to turn off the socials and just enjoy your oshi and the rest of the girls.
I believe they are being forced to do their job the same way I am forced to do my job. That is to say, I agreed to do it and am committed to doing it until it is no longer satisfying to do it. And, coincidentally, I've watched lots of people come in, work for a couple years and then decide that this place isn't for them. I've been here for 15 years and haven't come up with a good enough reason to leave, though.
Let's be honest, at this point in recent years, Hololive won't be for everyone who wanted to get in, what I mean is, they have to accept those responsibilities, be mature and be willing if their true goals and dreams are to be an Idol.
Something interesting is that Hololive has not officially sent out any kind of message to the public about what has happened, which rules out the possibility that the problem was some kind of change that left many members dissatisfied, as many people had been saying. According to what has been said by several members of HoloEN and JP, the change was simply the growth of Hololive over the years, and the more it grows, the more new job opportunities appear, obviously the members who want to gain more prominence have to work harder as in any type of job, this may be difficult for some like Sakamata but for others like Koyori she has I don't even know how many jobs she have it seem normal to her, so much so that she rarely appears sick
Lots of people have told their side of the story in the company. There is no point explaining further to people who hate for the sake of hate and shut down all reasons with skepticism and conspiracy theory because it doesnt fit their worldview.
I get that some people might be worried, but I felt like some of those comments just coming from 'another' fandom just trying to accuse that Hololive also didn't care when it comes to talents. People need to understand that their schedules are starting to stack hecticly over past few years, which is why whenever there's a in-house event (like Minecraft Sport Festival and VCR GTA) there's always some talents who couldn't make it. I think COVER allowing most of them leaving on their own terms is a good thing, at least for me.
No.... hololive, like any big group, have their own toxic people. You see lebron cultists? Kobe and Steph's? Faker? Yeah, they have stupid people who thinks they know more about human psychology than psychiatrists and hololive has equally worse fans.
@@NomimonyoFor whatever reason I don't understand is, for those "Fans" that have "Company is Bad" Mindset deep rooted into their brain... ur Oshi leaving that said company that "Abuse, doing bad or whatever you imagine on that your little head"... Isn't thats like supposed to be a celebration for those people? I genuinely can't get around their head for this reason
Basically those fans can't really defend their former company allegiance as it's practically redeemable, so they just try to look for as many faults that Hololive has as possible, no matter how flimsy or false it is.
That's it. Anyone still bringing the "Hololive bad" "...gone public" "Idol path bad" narratives and ignoring what a lot of the talents have already clarity, THOSE ARE NOT FANS.
Unfortunately the people who want to believe this will believe it even harder the more talents say it’s not true. I was worried too but they came out and said it’s not a problem, and I trust them. But for people who are dedicated to the narrative, videos like this will just get a response along the lines of “well of course they say that, the company is making them do damage control” or depending on who it is “well yeah so and so loves being an idol so of course they don’t see a problem.”
I don’t know how many more hololive members from all branches will have to tell these ‘fans’ to their faces to stop being completely neurotic about holo management for them to finally quit it There are black companies out there allright, they’re called niji and they literally try to drive their talents into the ground
I wonder what suisei do if the company change to opposite way? Less music related stuff etc. And her fans tell her you dont have to make albums or songs just stream🤔
The people claiming that Hololive doesn't let talents rest only got it from reports on times when the talents are on a "crunch" for certain activities and events. In most cases though, we've heard of more than enough stories of the managers forcing the talents to rest that we know that Hololive cares for the talent's health far more than the talents themselves.
At the end of the day, it's a job. There are people who were satisfied with the company, and there are people who weren't satisfied. The best thing is, the company is letting them move on if the talent wanted to leave, and not trap them in a restrictive environment. I'd say that the recent "changes" is actually molded by the talents, not investors nor management. Talent like Suisei, molded the company to something that she wanted to be, a virtual idol company, with routine dance and vocal lessons, making original songs, collaborations and brand deals, and livestreaming to retain new audience. While it might be suited for some talents, some might not like it as much, some might not be strong enough for it, and it is normal. Aqua wanted more control on her schedule, Ame wanted to do her own 3D fun stuff a la Fillian, Chloe wanted a more laid back vtubing to accommodate her health, and Fauna? Who knows what kind of disagreement she had with management. Scheduling? Pay rate? Bureaucracy? You can speculate, but until enough evidence is apparent, we must not do anything stupid
It is insane how the critics get very denial when the talents themselves are saying the allegations are not true. They dont want to hear the positivity they just want something that can validate their accusation and when they dont get that it's all kinds of shit that goes down, saying the talents are bootlickers even though there are people who greatly benefit from the position & arrangement, has found resounding success in the company. What are we doing here?
Nobody reasonable is saying Cover is perfect, but please stop pretending you know what's "wrong" with Cover. Everyone you like is going to leave for some reason, at some point. You can't make them stay forever. Things won't be the same forever. Cover won't be the same forever. Deal with it.
it's funny that people say this when in truth a lot of them are being asked or even "forced" by their managers to take a break..it's also sad when you think that they hold and plan performances like birthday or anniversarry lives thinking of how to make the performance fun for us to watch and then people just come out rolling with "you don't need to dance or sing, we'd rather you just stream"
Cover isn’t a perfect company. No company is perfect. Some are extremely toxic. But the notion that Hololive talents aren’t given time to rest baffles me. Gura hasn’t streamed in months. Mumei is on a break. Plenty of other talents have gone done extensive haitus in the past. There has been major failures by management and those should never be repeated again. My most recent memory is what happened with Ina’s visa status. It seems people are just waiting to be negative. Does Cover deserve it? Maybe. Maybe not. But Cover has been much better than other Vtuber agencies.
I don't think I have to recollect the 'split' cases that many talents sliped out during their stream such as Moona, Aqua or Shion which states the backfront workload, work that still there although she graduated or hiatus which not actually make her real rest. it's not my duty to say something like ' omg some talent got the task to regain the semi-permanent-loss reputation to make investors ensure their stock!' -it's too propaganda. . We're all know nothing about what really happened there. But free speech should come with responsibility, yeah I'm also mean to talent that doing clarified to ternimate the untrustworthy too. They're doing THEIR JOB, hope you guys know what I mean.
Honestly, you guys really need to stop exaggerating about this situation. It literally happens in every agency, so let's be real this is totally normal. Something like this was bound to happen sooner or later.
Still though, some of them joined before since they were expecting to only be streaming but because of how hololive grew so much, they kinda now don't want to follow up on what the management wants to go on with, and I observed that some the EN members are totally the most affected one since foreigners aren't really the type to dream of becoming an idol in the first place. So yeahh
@@jaysondulay5968 fauna already mentioned that of course she were expecting that she will be involved in creating music's and sing and other stuff but she also said that the reason why she joined hololive was because of her wanting to stream more, AME also quite said the same thing Which is the reason why she become an indie vtuber to focus more on streaming and do what she can actually do
Fans are part of problem, but the thing is that, since we are living in this role so most of the times many of us don’t see the issues from our own end. People love to blame other factors to cope and comfort themselves, selectively ignoring potential factors that may relate to themselves; doxing, constant fighting between fan bases should have well proved it, one of the previous Niji members has also addressed one of the reason why she left was because of her crazy fan base. Sometime people should look at the mirror first before judging other things.
@@foxfox1985 Ayame, Gura, and Haachama and Shion until recently... or for extremely relevant examples, Marine, Ame and Noel. You DO NOT have the improvements these three had in singing and dancing without willingness to perform and commitment to put in effort.
This. When Ojou came back on her 2021 break, most of us were crying and touched on how much she improved. And since then she's been getting better and better, you can tell if you actually watch and listen. And if you think it's easy to improve on singing and dancing, I'd like you to try. And don't forget that moving the 3D model and the cameras are a bit different that they are willing to take multiple recordings. Just to show us the fruit of the hard work they have been doing behind the scenes.

@@jarednewman7823 Yep. Tho tbf it might've been just banter between her and Nakirigumi... But it's also possible that some casuals actually forget who Ayame is. Girl doesn't stream much after all.
While I will appreciate if you put longer clip, at least you clip the important part. My take is always simple Fans who are screaming over asking talents to stream more and avoid idol path are same people who also will scream once they see only their oshi is not singing at HoloFest.
This situation has blown up beyond what should be acceptable to a fanbase. It may have started as people voicing genuine concern, but I feel that in doing so, they invited antis, Nijisisters, and people who simply don't understand to butt in. This causing wild amounts of misinformation, doomposting, and drama. Hell, the bad apples could've literally just sent a random rumor and then sat back and watched as an emotionally vulnerable community, who have seen possibly several of their favorite VTubers depart this year, just fall for it, as do even the most intelligent of people in times of emotional vulnerability. But why we continue to argue amongst ourselves, clearly catching the attention, I won't say in a negative light, but definitely not a positive one, of the people we wish to support, is beyond me. Bickering like children, making the grownups worry, making them have to step in and tell us what's what. I won't pretend as though I know everything that goes on behind the scenes and the fine details of each talents' personal experiences. I don't, but what I do know is that they have no reason to lie. There are many strong spirited women in Hololive, Suisei being a primary example, who likely simply wouldn't stand for deep seeded, abusive, corrupt work environments for them or their colleagues and friends. We just need to collectively take a step back, take a deep breath in, and understand that departures happen. Disagreements with management, big and small, happen. Creative disagreements being included in that. They happen, and it's entirely up to the people involved how to resolve the issue. Even if that resolution ends up not being what you or I particularly want or agree with. I believe Suisei, Kanata, Fubuki, Shiori, Bijou, and all the other talents who have said the same things over and over. "Not every experience is going to be the same, but for the most part, we are taken care of. Of course there are mandatory tasks and duties that need to be done. There will be things that talents cover, and things that management cover."
I don't know if I'm desensitized or not. I could be sad. I could be depressed. Even so, the recent news hasn't phased me as much as I thought it would. Maybe I'm lying to myself. Maybe I have accepted this fate. However, I am certain of one thing. "I understand it now."
Put it this way, at least they are leaving hololive on good terms and chasing other careers. It isn't because of scandels, abuse, neglect, and near suicide... points at the other company.
It's unfortunate that the wrong message spread on social medias. Most talents and immediate management is perfectly fine (from what we can see and are being told, anyway). Middle management and the chain of command in general seems to create some problems that need to be addressed and fixed. Cancelling projects that had time and money sunk into it, as well as some other seemingly bad communication issues. We've heard talents vent their frustrations live on stream, so staff has no excuse. Those are the problems that need to be investigated. Everything else, by the talents' own words, is their choice if they want do the work/participate in the event or not. And as many others have already pointed out, we've heard plenty of stories of the direct talent managers trying to get their talents to take breaks. It's VERY much so not good that the public discourse is around the wrong topics. We'll have to see what happens, since even Yagoo himself said ("admitted") that he knows there are issues.
At the end of the day, we care if our Oshi graduate or not. And people are pretty nervous about it. Nervous people makes rumors. Rumors lead to misinformation. Who is at fault? The company? The graduating Idols? The spreader of rumors? I say noone but it really doesn't matter. People will believe what they believe.
Can I also take this moment to remind everyone this... *When Hololive first began, it was with the GOAL of being an idol group* And ever since Chloe's Activity Cease and Fauna's Graduation announcement, lots of people today still have decided to pull a Peter Griffin and conveniently forget, just to pull that sudden violent 180 on Cover...
Hmmmm wonder which fandom it was... Not gonna name names.. but Didn't happen when Sana left Didn't happen when A chan left Didn't happen when Mel " left " Didn't happen when Amelia left Didn't happen when Aqua left I don't hear any outrage for Chloe either... So hmmmmmmmm..

The true black company victims: the poor overworked talent managers
People saying Holo black company doesn't actually understand how scary an actual black company works
Iirc, Lui was previously from a black company. If Lui is still in Hololive, it's safe to say that Hololive isn't a black company.
Luna too.
Lui and Luna can tell you all about those. Unless it somehow cracks open like a rotten apple and exposes some extreme employee abuse that _doesn't_ reach the talents so even they'd be surprised, Cover is really really far from black.
Especially in Japan, where it's kind of normal for you to work so much that you hardly get any time off, not that it doesn't happen in the rest of the world, but there I think most people know what it's like
No way Holo is even close to those companies. It's more just a matter of resource distribution, something every company struggles with.

Its interesting that both the JP/EN side has this same speculative argument of "Oh Hololive is pushing their talents towards idol stuff rather than streaming." "Hololive has been clear for what 4-5 years now that they are an idol company and want to pursue that path"
I'm just a casual Holofan and this is absolutely not remotely true. The pursuit of Idol dream was always there, but turning the company into THE Idol franchise instead of THE VTuber/Streamer franchise is something new. And something MANY talents acknowledge. Is it a bad thing? Not necessary. Is it a rapid and painful change? yes.

Hololive fans see gura's streaming schedule and still have the cheek to blame management for not letting the talents rest is nvr not funny to me
People who say these are just bad actors and aren't really fans, they seek to control what the talents should be doing and that grinds my gears.
If idol activities aren’t mandatory, what might those disagreements have been about?
i can fix her ❌
i can fix her company ✅
When people keep saying the same speculation, somehow it became the TRUE opinion. I would say this speculation come from antis --> and became the TRUE opinion for Hololive fans who love the talent so much.
If you sick you can rest, if you burnout = affiliated (appeared on future project), I wont say it but the answer is graduation.
Finally, holo talent speak what im thinking after seeing lot people saying hololive have bad management since some talent choose to leave
Hope with this they stop saying bad things, and show more support to talent that doing their best for fans to enjoy
I know my english suck
Your English is fine.
Eigo is understandable, and right now that's what matters.
Nanny fans created a narrative where their oshis are relentlessly pushed around by faceless management
Any new information is just integrated into the theory instead of taken for its own value, like "oh, the management is MAKING Suisei say the talents aren't forced to do things" etc.
absolutely
I think people just don't understand that "talents" (people working creative jobs), more often then not, are gonna overwork themselves, because there isn't really a limit to what they can achieve and the only limit is their body shutting down. When you can live off your passion, it's actually harder to restrain yourself from doing too much.
But people online like to speculate and think that they know, and then it validates other people that have the same opinion, and you know, echo chambers and whatnot.
People will specalute and let everything burn down just because their oshi is gone..smart era we live in right now 😂
"Why don't you guys talk to your Oshi?"
Got it in one, Sui-chan.
Also, props for the thumbnail. 10/10, no notes.
Suisei raised the exact point I've seen around.
And well, I knew 3d lives weren't mandatory so I knew those opinions were bs
If they are so concerned about the management then should've kept up to date with management notices at least
she's the 5th member at this point to say their schedule is defined by them they just tend to take on more than they should at times.
To anyone who still believes Holomem are not allowed to rest, I present to you Nakiri Ayame.
there might be some talents who actually want to chill but the fanbase would compared how frequent the talents doing activity compared to others. i remember gura fanbase did that saying gura lazy because she stream less often compare to other talents. thats how toxic gachikoi is but at the same time they are the ones who the most supportive to the talents buying goods and tossing superchat.
on the other hand, choco-sen being a chill streaming once a week without drama.
We always refused and banned them from “visiting colleague” etc.
finally see someone that understand the nature of highly competitive job
Becoming busier isn’t necessarily a bad thing, in this case I feel it’s a natural consequence of being successful commercially that has caused hololive to have more opportunities and collabs coming their way, and as result there are more things that the members need to fit into their schedule, you could call this suffering from success
so many flat out schizos in this comment section.
Doesnt that directly contradict what some other talents said ? Maybe her experience is just not universal
The point is, they are not forced to sing, dance or other idol activities that keep talent busy, but they themselves are happy to do it without pressure.
From what I understand, talent is given jobs based on whatever projects the talent has planned,
If you hear talent complaining that they're busy, it's because they hope you'll understand their condition if they don't stream.
Contradict who? Can you name one?
The one that chatted probably not experience the true workplace.
Nov-Dec is where companies gonna be a lot busier. It may finishing reports, deadlines, delivery, so fort and so on. It will only calm down after Christmas or New Year
I experienced it first hand.
Are they not under a non disclosure agreement about that kind of stuff?
They've said before that living in Japan gives more opportunities, which is why a lot of them have moved there, because they want to do more.

those type of peoples is the ones that watched translated clips and never spent pennies on Hololive Products and think that their "Likes" to these current age of "Internet" matter.
Its sorta ironic people say this considering the jokes and complaints that comes when some talents go afk for months
With how ID/EN tweeting a lot about homework to be done, i kinda get where the speculation come from

For I as well. But Hololive is a black company to some people who lost their oshis apparently..

ur Oshi leaving that said company that "Abuse, doing bad or whatever you imagine on that your little head"... Isn't thats like supposed to be a celebration for those people? I genuinely can't get around their head for this reason
Basically those fans can't really defend their former company allegiance as it's practically redeemable, so they just try to look for as many faults that Hololive has as possible, no matter how flimsy or false it is.
Yep. Nijisisters acting like concerned fans to spread hate. Many such cases.
It seems that some former nijifans have moved to become holofans and still feel traumatized by management
And some chameleons came in with them.

Truly committed to find something to be mad about haha
i swear to god they're just antis that pretend to ask something so innocent that could and will, drag public opinion
I don’t know how many more hololive members from all branches will have to tell these ‘fans’ to their faces to stop being completely neurotic about holo management for them to finally quit it
There are black companies out there allright, they’re called niji and they literally try to drive their talents into the ground
Deal with it.
it's funny that people say this when in truth a lot of them are being asked or even "forced" by their managers to take a break..it's also sad when you think that they hold and plan performances like birthday or anniversarry lives thinking of how to make the performance fun for us to watch and then people just come out rolling with "you don't need to dance or sing, we'd rather you just stream"
smells like salty niji fanboys finding excuses to blame holo of the same thing their company did
Cover isn’t a perfect company.

Gotta take into consideration of some talents that don't know what rest or taking a break is.
We can’t take one persons word for it as everyone has different experiences with management
Honestly, it's probably the other way around. It's the management who begs for rest 😂
