Thank you for the Video. Can I ask you what brand is your winter jacket?

Thanks for the question! The brand is Bongo. I’m pretty sure they made jeans in the 90s, and I’m not sure they’re even around anymore 😂 It was a thrift store find - any lightweight, flexible jacket will do!

I have those exact same sandals and am considering taking them on a backpacking trip to South America. Did you have any days that you walked a lot in them while traveling and did you have any problems with them if so?

Does the Osprey fits as a personal item? Like I’m Ryanair, EasyJet etc? Or do you have to pay for a cabin bag?

Great question! I don't think it would work as a personal item for most airlines. If you really compress it, you could squeeze it down to about 45x30x15 cm, but you aren't using most of its storage at that point.

The porter 30L will not be allowed as a personal item or carry on item with the cheaper airlines company they are much more strict with size and weight of carry-on backpacks. I have the porter 30L also; the porter will work as carry-on for most of the common name brand domestic US flights ie. Delta, United, SW, AA. All the International flights will allow the porter 30L because the cabin space is able to fit in the overhead bin but not under the seat. You will have no issues using the porter 30L as a international travel bag. The porter 30L backpack has become my go to favorite for minimalist packing for international travel. I always read the baggage restrictions on all flights I will be flying with. I hope this information helps.
