I pack for travel in a similar fashion, albeit without the cosmetics (I don't think they could do any improvements on my bald & moustached male face) ... but for clothes I definitely use packing cubes / dry sacs. Imagine trying to reach those Birks at the bottom on the bag, having to pull everything out, looking for a place to keep them while moving. I'd also always keep things like - a flashlight, water purification drops, mosquito repellent and such.
Thanks for sharing! I do use packing cubes from time to time. not for this video tho haha
You gave me a bit of courage and clarity on packing lighter. Thanks!
Glad I could help! 🙌🏼
Cute cameo appearance from the kitty! 😄
he loves the camera haha
Don’t pack your fears. That’s my biggest takeaway from this video.
I used to do the same with my cat 💚💚
Hi I went from a overpacked 50 liter suitcase to a to a 40 liter backpack. And this year I'm going smaller I have a 32 liter backpack from Osprey that I'm going to try for Summer vacation this year. I used the Osprey for weekend trips and city trips. Now I'm going to try is a week vacation.
niiice! safe travels 💥
Great review and idea. Keep it up!
Thanks a ton!
Fun! Love to pack light? Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
I love these types of videos. I'm traveling with only a backpack this year🎉
That's awesome! thank you for watching ✈️
Its also hard here in australia when they only give you 7kg in a carry on baggage
do they actually check? because in Europe they don’t (unless your backpack looks huge) 😏
Unfortunately they regularly check in Australia. I have been on all our major airlines (Virgin, Qantas and Jetstar) in the last year and all of them checked my carry on weight. I always check my bag weight before leaving the house, so I have never had an issue but it is annoying how careful you have to be.
I’ve never done backpack only. I never check bags, but I always have a carry on and a personal item. Next time I fly, I want to combine so I have my hands free. I’m small so dealing with two bags can be annoying at times. Have a nice Saturday!
best of luck with that!
Hello from a fellow light packing person! Love that you manage a backpack for your trip, I usually have a carry on but might try the backpack instead with your tips
thank you so much! I take a carry on in 2 cases: winter and travelling with my husband. we usually take 2 backpacks with us but when we need some extra stuff, we take just 1 carry on + personal items 🎒
i personally think you could have gone without half of those things to make space for the one thing that really mattered.... the cat. Not everyone can reach that level of efficiency with packing, but it could be a nice goal to aim for
you're totally right... next time Gizmo's coming with me!
Useful! Few more questions from me - What's the storage amount of your backpack? And did you manage to go partying with backpack and simple outfits?
my backpack is 27L. as for partying stuff, I normally take dresses / outfits that work well with my vans shoes haha
First time watching and commenting. I got a backpack the other day. I hope to use it when I travel it seems small but I'll see. It has a space for laptop. I usually take under the seat suitcase.
thank you! safe travels 🙏🏼
Your airlines must allow a high weight limit as our airlines only allow 7kg inclusive. There is only one packing vid i have seen that has demo’d packed items and weight. It would be interesting to know how much your bag weighed after it was packed?
How much does your packed backpack weigh? I’m taking only a backpack for a 36 day trip to Europe from North America and it weighs 17 pounds, so I am curious how much yours weighs.
I don’t weigh it but I’m guessing around 7-10kg. I’ll weight it next time I travel!
Still not understand, why they don’t make trolleys which klimb stairs…Great video, thank you 🙏🌸
thanks for watching 🙏🏼
hello, can you list the name of your backpack, cute purse. thank you for your tips
hey, sure!

What electronics do you pack?
laptop, camera + chargers
Hi, what backpack is in the thumbnail of this video?
it’s Nike Utility Speed 27L 🙌🏻
Just got my backpack. Hope it works for me. My biggest problem when traveling is my cpap. You young'uns don't have to deal with that yet, but it takes up substantial space. P.S. I love your kitty!
thank you & safe travels!
The video is okay except for the following reason. From time stamp 6:35 onwards, the position of your camera is wrong. I cannot actually see the bag completely. We need to see the opening style of the bag and then you can show us the contents.
