Thank you so much! I was called to the Nigerian Bar this Month. I have some inquiries to make, please. 1. I would like to ask if LLM is a requirement for writing the New York Bar Exams? 2. Do I need work experience to take the bar exams? 3. Which state was your law school located? 4. Which law school?
Hi! You will need to check the New York bar web page to verify for yourself. I wrote the exam about 4 years ago and at the time because I was licensed in and got my LLB from a commonlaw countries, an LLM was not a requirement even though I had an LLM. However I would advise you do your research. I also didn't need work experience even though I had some. Law school was university of Washington. You can check out my other video on getting licensed to practise in the US- th-cam.com/video/w1vEsfRFJq4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fTPcHxVQXOtm6BAU
God bless you so much. I Have been so nervous. Thank You. How many months did you start studying for the bar exams? How many hours a day did you study? What month before the bar exam did you start timing yourself? How many months before the exam did you start answering questions? I will be grateful, if you can answer these questions.
Wow this is a really packed question. 6months prep period before the exam. At some point I was reading 8 hours a day. Start timing yourself as soon as possible preferably 2-3 months before. But it really depends on where you are in the process.
@@USLLMTIPS I lept for joy that you answered my question. You will always prosper. I am just starting to read for feb. i am still nervous. Don't know if it's late. How many practice essay questions did you do before the bar exams and multiple choice.( MBE) I sincerely apologize for these questions
