Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a video game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is the twelfth major installment and the twenty-second release in the Assassin's Creed series, and a successor to 2018's Assassin's Creed Odyssey. Set in the 9th century, the player controls Eivor, a Viking raider and Assassin during the Viking invasion of Britain. The game is scheduled for release in late 2020 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia, and is to be Ubisoft's launch title for the next-generation consoles, the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
In Valhalla, the player takes on the role of Eivor, a Viking raider who leads their fellow Vikings from Norway in raids and battles against King Aelfred and the four Anglo-Saxon medieval kingdoms of England - Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia - near the end of the 9th century as part of the Viking invasion of Britain. Additionally, the game will continue to tie into the modern-day events related Abstergo Industries' researcher Layla Hassan, who was featured in both Origins and Odyssey, and to the Templars and Assassins that have tied the series together.
Players will have the choice of playing Eivor as either male or female and are further able to select their hair, warpaint, clothing and armor. Combat has been changed to allow dual wielding of almost any weapon. The "Eagle Eye" mechanics are also expected to return in the form of a raven that will be Eivor's animal companion in the game. The player can use the raven to scout the nearby areas as previous avian companions had done in Origins and Odyssey. The game will rely less on a traditional leveling system and instead focus more on the selection of skills through skill trees selected by the player as Eivor advances through the game. Enemies will be rated based on the collection of skills. The skills trees will be similar to those found in The Witcher, Fallout 4 and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Player choices through conversation or gameplay options will have impacts on the characters and their political alliances with other non-player characters.
A central feature of the game is the settlement that the player, as Eivor, will help build and lead during the game. Ismail described its importance as "a lot of what you're doing in the game world is, at the end of the day, going to feed into the settlement so that it can grow, it can flourish." The player will be able to direct construction of certain types of buildings which in turn provide benefits for gameplay. To build these structures, the player will need to lead the vikings on raids to collect resources. Naval combat will return, though more as a means of faster medium for travel for performing such raids, and for escaping after land combat, rather than in engagement with other naval vessels.
Valhalla is a single player game, but will include online components for the purpose of encouraging players to share their progress and creativity.

You can go back to Norway any time after landing in England just go to the map and then atlas.

tag for the rage of helheim ability you just need to tap the LB and RB bumpers as rabidly as possible don't wait for the prompts just go LB, RB, LB, RB and keep doing that as fast as you can
If you stand on your long boat and fire your bow, you get infinite arrows. I took out 2 zealots at power level 30 this way

Just an fyi, you can still get the ability at kjotves fortress. It says the area is unavailable but I just waltzed right in an grabbed early in the game.
I think the best part of these videos is how deeply excited Tag is about the game! One of the many reasons I love this community! I’ve never played a game like this and the excitement is infectious!

Actually you can get to the cave in Kjotve's fortress although it tells you, that the are is unavailable. I just walked right in before I raided the fort and grab that book. Game did not desyncronized.
Oh so that's a bug for everyone... Thank god, I thought i broke my game at first considering my torches don't always like to give off light -_-

I got that bow and its the same name but its not a Sniper Bow. It does more damage when at full health. Still pretty good.

I went before the fortress mission and got the area not available notice. I just ran for it and grabbed it and ran back out.

One can get all of those abilities as soon as you have the long-boat available, leaving Avaldsnes, no need to progress into the story. In fact there is a hidden conversation between Eivor and Dag, when returning to the long-boat, after exploring a reasonable portion of the isle where the fort of Nottfall and the town of Stavanger is. (But it has to be done before reaching Fornburg for the 1st time.)
I would like to get the golden set that you are currently wearing? Can you find this set or does it come with ultimate package?
For the rage of helheim ability all you have to do is press R1 and L1 not just spam R1 otherwise you get the animation where they push u iff

For the rage of helheim you don’t have to “time” the hits, you can quite literally spam the shit out of rb and lb :)

I went too far and went to England but I found out you can come back so I did that to get some armor
You can actually get the ability while playing the story, it says you need to go back but you can actually grab it and then return.

I would love to know everyone’s favorite weapons and combinations. I’m using a war hammer and axe. Occasionally switching to dagger and axe.
Im using a longsword, or, a new big shield in england (you cant move with it when blocking) and with an axe. But, i want to get that hammer in Norway!

So I got there before I ever went "home" for the first time. Soon as they let me free roam before returning home I explored every part of the map that the game let me. So I was level 15 before going home and had that ability. Maybe they changed it idk

rage of helheim is not a prompt , the screen just shows you what you are pressing ( if you press rb it will show attack rb ) , so you literally just have to spam lb , rb , lb , rb .. i dont know why they made it like that , its confusing

they are hardily secret abilities and weapons, they are marked on your map and are pretty easy to find.

If you are like me and you just explore every single area for fun, you will get all these in the video + A LOT MORE.
I wasn’t big on Watch Dogs Legion. It was average for a game. I had fun in it but Assassin Creed Valhalla I’ve been way more interested in cause I like Norse mythology and games. I can’t wait to play this game at midnight tonight. It looks a lot better than the last AC game. I do hope they don’t do like the past AC game and have every character you talk to or do missions for trying to sleep with you cause that was annoying and was one of the reason along with the horrible grind that I stopped playing the AC games and playing Origin instead.
I underestimated how much was actually in Norway, I will definitely be taking my sweet time on my second play through!

I just got my copy of the game and the " family matters" quest is bugged. It won't give me the quest marker and won't let me talk to the seer for ''a seer's solace".
Unfortunately you’ll have to either wait for a patch or just make a new game an rush through the first few quests
Idk about family matters but seers solace is a known bug. Apparently if you played the game BEFORE installing the day one patch the quest is bugged. I'm not sure if it's been fixed yet but if not it should be in the next patch.
If the quest is broken and you installed the day one patch before playing then I'd send a ticket in to Ubisoft
i was collecting things before leaving Norway and heading to England the kings guard stop me and say i have a bounty and the adoptive father says he will pay the bounty is this a bad thing im think of starting over
