Perfect. It's hard transitioning from one fight sport to the other. When I do boxing rounds during training camps I definitely don't slip low enough...although I guess it's best not to form any bad habits when you're training for kickboxing.
Whoever requested this topic is awesome so I'm going to piggyback and ask for a video on kickboxing footwork. Particularly footwork for kicking i.e. roundhouse, sidekicks, hookkicks and their spinning variants.
A word of warning: Slipping the jab and returning to the centre line is one of THE most dangerous things you can do - so many examples of boxers eating the 2 that comes after the jab. Got to roll the right hand or pivot away after the slip.
Thanks for talking to us assuming we know what we're doing! most other TH-camrs in your space cater exclusively to guys who have never been in the gym, not those of us who have been in the gym for a while but aren't world-beaters yet
It's so hard to find the perfect line. Too advanced and very few people can follow along. Too easy and everyone who's trained is bored. I'm glad you feel I'm in the correct zone.

Thank you so much gabriel varga! Your wisdom is so much knowledge to common normal people like me that we can never learn or get unless we have the world class experience like you. Thank you ❤️
The reason that fighting an opponent who is capable of slipping your shots is so exhausting, is due to the fact that you have to stop all your own strikes. When you strike a glove or someone that’s blocking, they absorb the momentum of your strike so all you have to do is pull your arm back, which might be made easier by the fact that your limb could be bouncing of the thing your striking, but if your hitting air you have to stop the momentum behind your strike and then bring it back, which adds up very quickly, if your opponent is hitting you while dodging.
Amazing video! I would love to see a break down of mid-fight adjustments. If you make them, how you make them and your opinions on doing so. How much are you thinking during a fight or is it all instinct all ready drilled in?

I think a good video would be a do's and don't s of footwork when heavy leg kicks are involved.
