I love how in these movies the attackers always come at the hero one at a time. Don't get me wrong, I love karate flicks but that just doesn't happen in real life. In reality unless you are fighting total idiots they are most likely going to all swarm in at once. I get it tho, it's a movie.
If you are with your seven friends and y'all have maybe knives and machetes how exactly would you rush one person all at once without cutting each other up? How about without weapons? How would you punch the person as your three other friends are kicking him? The guy is, say a BJJ artist grappling on the floor with one of your best buddies. What will you do? Attack all at once because this is the streets? How will you get him on the ground? Who will start? Will you all jump to tackle at once risking head collisions? Or one will throw an amateur kick to the feet as two or three swing haymakers from random directions? Yes? What exactly will you do as a hardcore street combat expert? Or rather how will you show it in a movie and get every other combat expert to buy tickets?

@@KenOmollo I was just stating my opinion. They are standing there waiting to attack one at a time. That's not realistic!! And for that BJJ question that you asked, BJJ is great in one on one scenarios. You try to pull that shit in a club tho or any other type of scenario where there's people around, you're getting kicked in the head. That's just reality.

His kicks aren't that clean. However hand techniques are his strong point
@Keller Smith it's evident his lack of flexibility and technique watch the way he performs that kick 4:11. Any good kicker can observe the way he does the round house and side kick. I am not saying that he's bad but his kicks are not his strong point

@@radurobert1 i don't wanna get profit with my kicks. I just train to keep in shape and obviously just in case for self defense. I am just saying the truth ,there are better kicking actors. I didn't want to bash Jeff wincott . He seems like a well grounded martial artist
@@davidmartialartskicker8237 In the past I was in the same situation like you . I trained and my kicks where ultra fast sharp and strong as fast as possible . I trained for 10 years . In the year 8 my right knee already had scars because the kicking speed created damage in articulations the human leg not being designed for that . So 5 years latter after regularly pain I ended with a swallow knee that extended half of my leg so I was ready for a massive surgery .I was unable to bend my leg .Thing is a refused surgery and I took huge quantity of serrapeptase while building my own crutch . The serrapeptase consumed the damaged part so basically I lost half from my muscles leg . Now after 1 year my leg regenerated and is back like new . I'm just very careful how I kick knowing what can happen ...
Fight scenes like this are so ridiculous. Even the best fighter would have been challenged to have taken on any one of those opponents. The fantasy of taking them on in multiples or in succession is absurd.

@@elismith3402 no I get it, I just prefer the more realistic fight scenes.
I have known people who have fended off 6-8 people in a fight, so though it doesn’t happen often it is very possible. In real life, attackers also go through hesitation and keeping their distance, trying to think more than get involved. While the “one at a time” scenario is exaggerated, taking on a group is not fantastical.
