    Thank you for this video... The experimental block painted white is so rad... I bet it's related to American Beauty or DarkStar... I hope you continue grow this in a shady environment under a canopy... Young plants with that much fruit and flower activity...Inspiring!

    Hi Gray Martin. Are those small black pot you have in the ground, cut opened at the base ? Or have you drilled holes on the sides of the pot.

    • @graymartin1555
      @graymartin1555 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Must cut the entire bottom off! Allow the roots to escape pots! Freedom.....

    Gracias por el video Gray, disfruto y aprendo.
    Solo un duda, están las plantas en el suelo , como las riegan, y con que frecuencia.
    Espero puedas compartir tu sistema de riego.
    Saludos y Dios te bendice.

    Hi it’s peter. I made a video of my backyard dragon fruit. Let me know what you think. Give you an idea of what I got going in Florida!

      I like your video! Nice trellis. Thought maybe the first Vietnamese variety could benefit from thinning to increase size but they were in pots weren't they? All the other plants looked really healthy much better than mine!

    Hi Gary what kind of fertilizer you use on your plant

    • @graymartin2275
      @graymartin2275  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well it is organic that we brew... still working on formula but the aeration is the key... The yellow you see it from 114 degree heat!

    Hi it is a new experiment to me in my country Tunisia and I just got one little plant like 20 inches tall and I noticed that the upper part was kind of burned after 6 hours exposure to sun. Will it make it through? Thanx

    • @graymartin2275
      @graymartin2275  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      First, in the right climate it will make it... Sun damage does occur above 95 degrees farenheit. Also the problem of sun damage can be increases if you alter conditions rapidly. So if the plant was in the heavy shade or wrap or greenhouse and it is suddenly exposed to intense sunlight or moist to dry as in the case of a greenhouse change then the shock will help in damage conditions... Always adjust slowly from one condition to the next... especially with young or sensitive plants.

    What's that white stuff down the plant? Is that paint ?

    • @graymartin2275
      @graymartin2275  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I used paint in this experimental variety section that I do not sell organic... initially when I planted this section I had forgotten that the this sun sensitive variety had been painted. If I keep this variety I will have to use an organic approved white wash.

    What is the right temperature for this plant

    • @graymartin2275
      @graymartin2275  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Avocado climate. Freezes at 32 in winter and burns over 100 in summer..
      If you can grow an avocado tree you can likely grow Dragonfruit
