As we are back in the EU spending time with family, we took the time to look at some of the sailing stores in Lorient France. Karver produces some very interesting equipment we thought might be interesting to review.

Excellent education vlog as always from Carry on Sailing. The audio was excellent but not sure why I heard you on the right side and the Karver guy on the left. Hey, nothing is ever perfect, but easy to understand. Glad you're producing again.

Hi James. Late tights party but great video. Re the locking mechanism for halyards, how certain is the release and what happens if it doesn’t????

Hi James, thanks for the comment. i have installed them on my own boat now. One has to keep them clean but I think the benefit outweighs the risk. All the racing folk use them extensively and do not have problems. Not been an issue and are quite a simple mechanism. If you were concerned stick with foresail locks and not main.

Not sure Stan. They could well be
