@@ADP12345Survivor's bias. Sam made $45k a year at 60 hours on average a week for what, a decade? All for the chance to make low 6 figures in the most expensive city in the world, the chances of which were not good judging by all of the other radio talent that havent made it.
Over the course of O&A to this show, there've been many interns and young staff that have been treated this way, it always winds up the same, and they _still_ act surprised by when it happens. It's not unreasonable to not want to be abused for a living.
1:53:58 Jim and Sam literally say they will absolutely not be picking up the check then 2:11:46 and again 2:13:06 Of course D-Bag would cancel or not show. Then they act like he should have known they were just joking and they would have paid. 2:22:12 - no the audience did not know for sure...
Glad this annoyed as much as it did to me, these fools reinforced that they were gonna screw dbag, they already ditched him at a previous dinner, dickheads, y wouldnt he freak out
It's pretty hilarious hearing them talk about, Dbag leaving to do go edit "boring tedious clips". Are they aware of the show that they do? Awesome he can spend time editing a boring clip, but it has a "celebrity" being interviewed. 48:57
This is tame compared to the old beatings. Go back to old E-Rock stuff or Steve C. It only ever sounds harsh when the intern can’t take a joke & takes it all seriously.
Did Sam _make_ Ant send that tweet from times square? Did Sam _make_ Opie alienate everyone around him? It doesn't diminish his accomplishments to acknowledge the lucky circumstances that brought him where he is. It would just show a little bit of needed humility and self-awareness
I don’t think people realize all Sam did before j&s he did the wrap up show he filled in when o or a was gone he had a night show as much as I don’t wanna stick up for Sam he did a lot of hard work took a lot of beating he was sxm 20 hrs a day. He wasn’t handed anything.
I like to hate on Sam, but he really did a lot of work. In radio, just outlasting people is the best way to move up. He came up with the pre & post show and Jocktober. He did have help from Erock, but the Nagel kid didn’t have the gumption to be a staahhh ⭐️
I really do try with these clips; Revisit Jim and Sam and give it a listen, see what I'm missing. It's mostly insufferable. I do genuinely get that it's difficult to talk on the radio for hours every day but this stuff is just a rambling mess of cackling nonsense. Jim and Sam have become the radio that Sam would take delight in shitting on every October. Seems fitting.
Sam talking: it was LIKE, that LIKE, he was LIKE, it's not like. Followed by his annoying NAH HAHAHAHA laugh. Sam you have become every jocktober show you have listened to.
I don’t remember Sam wearing lipstick. I don’t remember Sam going through what these other interns went through. Even though he tries to act like he did. Sam needs to know when to shut up. Jim went to bat for you an that’s how you got your job so take it down a acouple notches.
Yea its not like sam kissed multiple men, stripped for bob kelly, and sat through his mother being sexually interogated by ant and jim. I can get the dislike for sam but hes paid his dues. Erock and sam were basically made to simulate gay sex
Hard to believe mediocre pay, early mornings, and public humiliation isn’t a great incentive to stay at a job.
Waaaaaah
Sam did it. Hes doing pretty well

@@viper100200Sam was making less than that. Dude was earning roughly 16 dollars per hour
i hope Dbag is doing well. he seems like a good dude
the golden years of the jim and sam show lmao
Did somebody mention D-bag is leaving for a better job for better money or am I just imagining that was mentioned?
It's 3 hours of reasons to not want to work in this situation anymore. I don't blame him for leaving.
James Hay same here. I was like, “Oh I’m listening to that part right now. Maybe I’ll put the time stamp for this fella.”
How could you not click on that thumbnail 😂
Please keep these videos coming! They're hilarious.
ikr?! i love the inside-baseball shit- the parts where they discuss the actual mechanics of the job, and how much it apparently sucks!

Also, the absolute pompousness, "he wants to make documentaries, he could have made one about US!"
It’s so obvious after to listening to this why Adrian left so abruptly also. This a very undeserving beating.

You can use that logic with OnA. If Opie didn't play Ant's OJ tape, they'd both be nobodies. Luck is a major factor with any kind of success.

I like how they literally told him they are gonna pay and he's too stupid, anxious or both to recognize it
How does this video have only 77 likes?
It’s a vid about JN&SR, what do you expect? 😂
29k views & only 109 likes now, which is definitely not great lol. I would guess most people have played this a few times.
1:08:07 just for future reference Gywenth Paltrow took over for Bono there
You need to put the “Sunny” part with Bono, to differentiate him from U2 “Bono”. Liam Neeson’s wife is a better example.
Sunny “Broken” Bono

Sam kissed a homeless guy and Bob Kelly, and acted out gay sex acts with erock and a blowup doll. Linger longer.
