Then Mike came in and Mike was better at everything and he’s what Rob never was, he’s funny. And Rob knew he couldn’t put Mike into the shitloaf role so he quit because he couldn’t handle it.
Rob had dozens of chances to turn the whole thing around before, during, and after the event. Instead, he doubled down on playing the whiny victim card, and then quit (probably) the most fun job he'll ever have.
I think the point was the bar rescue jokes, making fun of Jimmy's stand up, Sam's wrestlemabia thing, those were all done afterwards. This was done in the moment. He was still a bitch about it though.
I wish that rob was able to articulate the contextual difference between all of the shit those empathyless hosts compared this too. The hosts brought their personal but natural failures to be laughed at on the radio, ok fair enough but that's different to sending someone like montone to sabotage robs serious proud occasion and then bring it back to be ridiculed
