Do you think that the protest by international students in Prince Edward Island is justifiable?

  • Well, I really don't think it can be justified in any circumstances. Even if they go to the court to file a complaint about their high tuition fees, situations that they are not granted an extension etc., international students are well informed about all the set rule and regulations before they move to another country for higher studies, no exceptions in Canada.
My opinion about the #protests by #internationalstudents in #princeedwardisland - once you are granted #studentvisa, everything else you get is a bonus. You only become eligible for the remaining type of #visas and #permanentresidency. It does not mean that you must get it, or the government must grant you the extension.
In the #statementofpurpose an #internationalstudent clearly states that they will go back to their home country once they complete their studies. They must clearly state their objective for coming to Canada ðŸ‡ĻðŸ‡Ķ for their #higherstudies - why this particular #educationalinstitution, why this country, why this province, and why this #academiccourse. Only when the #immigrationcanada is convinced that you will return back to your country after studies, you get the visa. Having said that, based on certain rules, factors, criterion etc., you become eligible to extend your #temporarystatus in 🍁 either via #extendedstudypermit #workpermit or go for a #permanentstatus in the country. But everything is the discretion of

So, I clearly cannot support the protests of #internationalstudents in #pei under any circumstances.
    Thank you 🙏

Thank you. The reason why nobody talks about SOP is because then every nonsense that these people are doing will become automatically invalid.
So, it’s like a “purposeful negligence”.

Also, as I feared, it’s spreading across Canada.
