- Millions tuned in on May 19, 2018, to watch Prince Harry and Meghan Markle get married at St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, and while there was plenty to see on TV, there were still some things that happened at the royal wedding that didn’t make it on the air.
Everything went smoothly, but there were a few planning hiccups that thankfully got resolved before the bride walked down the aisle. From the celebrity who realized at the last minute that they were wearing white, to the sweet messages from friends and relatives, let’s take a look at some moments at the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle that you didn’t see on TV.

Maybe she should’ve done a little research on how titles are given- race didn’t play a role, in Archie not being titled “Prince” Once Charles becomes King, Archie would’ve been given that title… Williams children are given their titles due to their Father. I must admit, I was just as ignorant on information: until I did my own research. But, I’m amazed Harry didn’t speak up, and explain how titles are given, since he knows.
Oprah betrayed the royal family, as did Meghan.
She interviewed the Queen’s grandson and his wife, so they are to blame.
Oprah is not a journalist and isn’t held to journalistic standards.
I’m very disappointed that they they were given a platform but at that time, we didn’t know what we know now.

@@TheDealvin The problem is that certain colours are off-limits for anyone that's not the bride. It's disrespectful and anyone reasonable person wouldn't have worn what Oprah wanted to wear. It's always a much safer option to go with any colour that's not too light and a saturated colour would have been the safest bet. You can't tell me that Oprah has never been to a wedding and doesn't know what colours are too close to looking white in the light. It's not like the shops who sell these kind of dresses are dark as hell. They have very bright lights and people there easily would have told her that it's not appropriate to wear it as a guest - especially to a royal wedding!

So did I, she made me feel uncomfortable the first time I saw them together, and it was nothing to do with her skin colour, because I didn't know then that she was "black", until she told us. It was everything to do with how she conducted herself. There was something very false about her, and the more I saw, the worse it got.

Seriously, there were some celebrities who treated the royal wedding as if they're attending an awards show or walking to the chapel as if they were in catwalk or something. That was very tacky. Posing to the cameras and trying to make it all about them instead of focusing on the couple. I feel like some of them deliberately choose eye catching outfits and hats to garner media's attention. It's very obvious that most of these celebrities are not used to attending high-society, royal events. It is very different from attending an awards show. #justsaying

Same reason as to why Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are 'of York' - their father is Duke of York.
