Good job and neat work but make the code autoselect upto 12/24/48V 60A mppt. Friend can you increase the mosfet to 3x3 or 4x4 in each side for increase in power handling and current capacity to 60amps.
It's really awesome that you made this. I'm thinking about building it too and I was wondering: since you used TechBuilder's Fugu 3.0 as inspiration for your design, did you find and fix/improve anything compared to it? Any tips you have after designing & building this beauty yourself would be very welcome! The project looks great but I don't know enough about electrical engineering to judge it in detail... You seem to be a little more skilled :) I also don't know if it is better to build your design or TechBuilder's, both look awesome!
This nice home made project please update it for more current and voltage and made beautiful clip like this …I’m waiting for this and all your new projects 🎉
I have two doubts here: 1. Can i connect a 575 Wp single solar panel with this circuit/setup? (Voc: 52v, Vmp: 42v, Isc : 13A, Imp: 12A) ? 2. Also can i connect this to a 24v Lifepo4 battery?
Hello fellow hobbyist. Thank you very much for your project! I decided to build your version instead of Angelo's and have been testing it with panels the last few days under observation. Have changed a few components due to cost saving ( i had these parts i use already) : IR21094S as driver, 4x TO220 fet's, 2X TO247 replacing relay for back-flow control (don't mind the small loss there), 150mmx100mm fiberglass perforated board, Hand wound 70uH coil. It works alright most of the time. My solar voltage is 40V max and got up to 330W and 13-14A 14V output. Component temp remains alright when on full power. Setup Blynk alright and have full telemetry on phone and laptop on serial to monitor pwm and error etc. I have two main problems i would really like your help on please: -Charge takes a while to start delays like a 2 / 5 min depends. -Sometimes just stops after 1 error and doesn't start again for a while, uncharged battery or mid charged doesn't change. -It overcharges higher than what i set it to which is 14.6v for 4X 200AH LIFePo4 in series and it jumps to 15.3v and the bms cuts the battery off. *it starts going down and reducing pwm very too slowly to stop overcharge and overshoots a lot. This is a cycle over again and again it doesn't stop. charging and just float. Last one is the biggest problem.
I hate smd component. in my country it is still difficult to find shops that sell smd components. btw, I'm curious, what does relay work for? why don't we just use a mosfet to replace it? I think relay consume more energy than mosfet. In my opinion, the working cycle is tougher/more than the relay. I want to make too.
In this circuit, the relay functions as a switch to prevent reverse current flow to the solar panel when it's dark. Alternatively, a MOSFET can be used as a replacement, which would be more efficient.

Hello, if you want to change the current sensor, you need to adjust the parameters according to the new sensor.

1. Your solar panel is perfectly suitable for this MPPT charger.
2. You can charge that 24V Lifepo4 battery.
