    This project working well with mains power supply. But with solar panel input side current and output side current is same. This is a simple pwm base charge controller.

    Maybe more like an FPP (Fixed Power Point) rather than MPP converter, as their is no intelligence on the board to vary the output voltage going to to the lightbulbs. MPP would require that the output voltage be variable depending on the solar conditions. in Low light conditions (dusk/dawn/clouds) the bulbs will try to draw power at the output voltage of the converter, but the panels will not be producing sufficient power for the full load and the whole thing will just stall.
    I've been working on something similar myself, basically controlling a buck converter with an Arduino. It can adjust the output voltage via a motorised potentiometer and continuously adjusts this output voltage in order to maintain the input from the solar panels at a fixed power point (roughly = Vmp of the array). This setup can sense when the input voltage drifts away from an efficient power point for the panels, and correspondingly adjust the output of the converter up or down in order to maintain a fixed input.
    Hopefully some of that made sense, it's difficult to describe as I'm kind of new to all this stuff.

      @@PhdHung Try to make 98 % eff. 45 - 200 Apsm 4 - 6 phase BUCK, then play with PCM, PWM, CCM, DCM, try to switch phases ON/ OFF, try to change PWM frequency 10 - 100 kHz, try different core materials, diffrent Cu wires, diffrent number of wires per turn. / SKIN effect mitigation /

    MPPT should Do both buck and Boost . @61 volt it's just a Buck design . in order to do boost you should do with a supply less than the output voltage . Simulate a real Condition of a MPPT . Get your data from 21V and below 12v if It can maintain 14v at the voltage you got a winner

    I downloaded the project and check the circuit. I have some questions
    1. The IC does not have any reference to GND, how will it turn on?
    2. The mosfet is N-Channel and the source pin is not reference to GND, and it is not bootstrapped as well, how will it turn on?
    3. In your circuit diagram, the mosfet is driven with totem-pole network (s8050 and s8550) but in this video, the board you are testing does not have these transistors, why?
    Please explain

    Creative as ideas and more than a great fascinity. I hope you explain to us how to design a budget balancing 200 am battery. Any 12V / 200A battery developers to become 24v / 200A voltage. Shaper during shipping is available from the battery before it. In duration as well. Question how can a balance and dynamic circulation can be designed on the battery so that during shipping is not the full battery before the whole. Thank you brother my cream 🌹

    But I want to ask, what if the input of the solar panel is only 18V, what components need to be changed for the MPPT system for charging the 12V battery?

      you dont you will need a charge controller after this buck so as to control the on and off charge to the batteries because batteries need to be charge controlled so you do not under charge or drain them or the opposite over charge them. The buck circuit is designed to take various input voltages from 15v -120v to a set output of 12 - 24V but you can not just stick that to a battery or you may cook it.

    Please, I want help The MPPT circuit diagram is input from 24V to 300V and the output for the MPPT circuit is from 24V to 48V But I don't have an IC that's complicated or hard to come by I want such an MPPT circuit that I designed with an easy 30A but input and output as I explained to you Thank you

    Jwco branded capacitors tend not to last very long. It doesn't mean you have not to use them, but really avoid them for high current projects like this one.

    Hello, I enjoyed watching your video. There was something that caught my attention. You solder the S8050 transistors at 3:00, but at 5:51 and after, these transistors are not on the pcb. What is the reason?

      I don't see a difference between having the totem pole driver and not. So I removed them.

    Circuit look good but for some reason I don't see a bootstrap driver on your diagram so the mosfet will get too hot so I don't understand how you get the mosfet to work in liner mood

      If you use large power, Add S8550 and S8050. I only use 1 mosfet IRF4110, So no need for buffer.

    Nice project, but i think this cannot implement to my solar panel system that using super capacitor (52v DC). I need isolated dc to dc boost converter to charge my super capacitor, can you made it? If i used non-isolated to charge my 23x maxwell super cap it will not work when the super cap has no voltage / empty

      471 is 470pf= 0.47nf= 0.00047uf
      104 is 100,000pf= 100nf= 0.1uf
      472 is 4,700pf= 4.7nf= 0.0047uf
      103 is 10,000pf= 10nf= 0.01uf

      I have tested. With MPPT SRNE 40A and this circuit. The MPPT SRNE is only 5% more efficient. The price of this circuit is much cheaper, it is also more durable.

    Sir this is not a mppt this is only a buck converter if you connect this buck convert with solar and its output with battery if battery need more current and your solar panels current is low then this buck converter not work.This short panel directly to battery without buck down the voltage

    Please add all the components as a list.. there is no information about half of the components.. the files attached are unable to open.. the transistor near the thyristor, some diodes, resistors, capacitors are not mentioned.. its lokk like no one can recreate the project other than the person in the video..

    3 phase dc drive to operate inverter based DC 3 phase air conditioner compressor. I think this project will have a great number of viewership due to its demand for testing Air Conditioner compressor, when the original circuit board is faulty.

      you can use totem pole driver if mosfet has large parasitic capacitor. If the mosfet is good, dont need to use totem pole driver.

    Nice video and PCB desing. I am wondering if this is a MPPT for solar or just a buck converter. I tried to use a buck converter (15A reviewed ok your channel also) in between my solar panel and battery and it just did not work. Could you try this circuit with a car battery or something similar as a load? Thanks for your videos.

    I think its time for the sponsors of these projects to insist on scematics, gerber files and parts list to be included in youtube descriptions or via a link. come on JLCPCB THIS IS THE 4th project I would have ordered boards for only to find the files given are incomplete so no order made.
