I can't help wondering if there's a few servants at the Evil Queen's castle who wait until she's gone to bed and then pay the mirror a visit and say to it, "mirror, mirror on the wall, what are next week's lottery numbers?" That's got to be a far more practical use for it than ego-salve for a self-absorbed narcissist.

Replacing the anti-Semite Rachel Zegler with someone else would go a long way toward recovering this movie.

You are overlooking an important point : the 1937 movie will soon be in public domain, and it is the oldest movie still making real revenues. If Disney does not annihilate it with something else (supposed to be better), then it will be the first important breach in the crazy US copyright legislation, that will legitimate free legal streaming. So they have a real business issue.
But there is another real social issue. Fairy tales are what little girsl watch to build their viewsabout life upon. This has an huge impact on future society. Snowwhite tells little girls that they will grow up to be wives and mothers. Disney wants to tell them that anything else is good. These are not views that can be reconciled, not more than Good and Evil. You have to pick a choice. Disney's view is inducing the suicide of all societies accepting it. It goes far beyond art and even politics.
Gal Gadot is amazing. Hope she cuts ties with Disney. She is a real actress, not what ever that hater girl is.

An Entertainment company that lost sight of the number 1 requirement for being in the Entertainment business.
It's the audience that decides what is entertaining.
They have lost the plot if they believe they can lecture the audience on what they should be watching.
And insulting them if they decide not to.
That path leads to financial ruin, same for any entertainer that takes the audience for mugs.

Yeah, I wouldn’t even waste my time with this woke movie. Disney doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel but they are determined to do so.
Disney has been on a self-inflicted voyage of the damned ever since someone decided that their business model going forward was to make live-action remakes of their entire back catalog because, the moment they did that, any actual creative people there were sidelined because there was already source material, already a plot, script, characters, etc, and so all that would be needed, it seemed, was a few tweaks here and there to cater for the "modern audiences" who seem to exist only in Bob Iger's head. So it seems likely to me that these genuinely creative talents would have left Disney to go and work for studios that wanted to make something new, leaving Disney as a studio now filled with script editors, hacks and political activists in their place. Once that happened Disney would have had no choice but to continue to make such trash as The Acolyte and SWINO (Snow White In Name Only) because there was nobody left anymore who wanted to make something genuinely new. Couple that with the clearly risk-averse management and you have a recipe for mediocrity (at best) that has left a once-great studio circling the drain.

I hope Disney releases this movie, and if it's still woke, I hope it fails miserably like everything woke made so far, just for the woke crowd. When you try to promote DEI, you should include everyone, not exclude everything except woke content. While people are doing woke and DEI wrong, I'm praying for them to fail. Maybe one day they will remember who their customers and audience are, if they haven't gone bankrupt by the time they realize.
