James Gunn cares about diversity and has shown that with his own casting of great characters without having to race bait. We are getting Mister Terrific and a latina Hawkgirl in Superman and there was a lot of diversity in his choices for Creature Commandos. Marvel continuously trashed beloved characters to push an agenda.

I want Jessica Cruz to be used in DCU and think Sasha Calle who played Supergirl would be amazing!

Okay, what part of The Marvels was preaching to the audience? That movie was about a trio of screw ups. I'd say the only thing about that movie is that Carol never got in trouble for what she did. Only name calling. Ms Marvel only had a moment of Pakistani history and some family life. But was about a Captain Marvel fangirl. The 3 of them being of different races doesn't make it DEI because they are that in the comics and are associated with each other. I'd say the only one that was truly woke was She-Hulk. That actually went out of it's way to be meta and make the villain the people that would watch the series. Also, the "I'm a victim because I'm a girl." Marvel just had the crappy timing of making all the female led movies they wanted to make when Perlmutter was there (but was stopped by him) in the start of the woke/DEI movement. Captain Marvel and Black Widow was supposed to be a thing early on in the MCU. Larson and Maslany needs to work on their own characters and make them great. Stop trying to be SBI and move on to other things and ruin them. The only thing I think that can help Captain Marvel is if the 3rd was about Rogue taking her powers and making Mystique and the Brotherhood the villains.

The interesting thing about the acolyte writing, and I have stated this before. Headland was confused at one point and did not know the direction to take the characters, Headland's wife told her to write what she feels, and we got a 180 million-dollar therapy session. Headland had no experience. when creating a character you put yourself in the character's shoes and write from the character's point of view. Maslany and Larson being so detached from reality and trying to push the woke agenda just shows that they do not see the changes happening. if they are so sure woke is the way to go, then they need to put up their own money for a project. If they know what the fans want then they should Write, Produce, and fund a woke project.

I am definatly not looking forward to any Disney Projects. Ortega is a good well respected actor. It is nice to see that Ortega and her management team are focused on Ortegas career, and not pushing her to do any career-ending DEI/Woke projects.

What I don't understand about Bob Iger is why he came back to Disney? Bob was kind of sitting on top of the World when he left. Avengers Endgame made a ton of money. People were generally happy at least with the MCU back then. Now Iger is back holding the bag and taking heat for the recent Disney failures. That could have been Bob Chapek stressing out now. If I were Iger... I would have been satisfied with going out on a positive note, stayed away and moved on to other things. Similarly Kevin Feige should have left on a positive note after Endgame as well.
