I love your vids. This vid has many interesting sights and sounds. I love double rainbows. My wife loves Kona coffee. I love shaved ice. The best thing about this vid …the stars. They were beautiful. I commend you on traveling with three kids. We only traveled with one. Great job as always.
Hi guys, really enjoyed your video! We are planning to go for the first time to Big Island this coming March and would like to ask you if Hapuna beach was good easy for swimming ( if waves were not too big)?
Hapuna was the most swimmable beach we visited on the Big Island. Also the facilities for families were among the best. Try to get there by ~10:30 as parking can fill up. Enjoy the trip!
Kilauea has been erupting since last year. However, the eruption is confined to the deepest portion of the caldera, so not as easy to see. The eruption has filled part of the collapse pit. Enough lava to almost cover the Empire State Building If you visit in the evening the glow is much more visible and at times spectacular.
Hey thanks for uploading this video. May I know what room did you book and how much it was. I love the view but seems like they are all out of suites. Planning to go in December with my family. We are 6 people including my twin babies
Gladly! The hotel was really nice, you'll love it. I don't recall which room it was but it was a two bedroom garden view suite on the second or third floor. The rate I paid was probably much lower than now because we booked at the height of the pandemic hoping things would get better, which they thankfully did. I understand with the big rebound in travel that rates have taken off so I wish you the best
We were at the Visitor Center. I can't speak to whether the road to the summit is always closed at night but when we were there it was. It was still some of the best star gazing we've ever seen

Thank you @Mannyrail again for saying such kind things. I'm glad you enjoyed this one

Great video. Did y’all stargaze at the visitor center or near the summit?
